My dad just emailed me and said he was planning a DCL family trip in 2006. It shouldnt take much to get me excited but please help.

I havent been on the DCL in a while, so you guys tell me what to expect..Come on guys, you were there for me years ago..What has changed besides the new show? anything you absolutely love about the ship? it will be a 7 day trip

There's all kinds of things to do on board. You can learn to Salsa Dance. Not sure of your age but you can do the wine, beer, tequilla or martini tastings if like. I can not even begin to tell you everything that there is to do now.

They now have the Cove cafe which is adults only by the adult pool.
Some evenings there is live music by the aduly pool too.
There is a new show, Cinderellabration. I know that is spelled wrong.
When it goes into dry dock in October they are suppose to enlarge the spa, and put a Jumbotron movie screen by one of the pools, I think Celebrity has this screen too. Also adding to the kids area by eliminating some of the conference rooms on deck 2. There is no tropical party now, they have changed it to the Pirate Party. It's really awesome. Also making a permanent spot to show the art items that are for auction on each trip. Not sure where it will be. Also Rock n Bar D is now a smoke free night club.
That is all I can think of for now.
