I get nothing done at work because....

I am sitting here at my desk and my little space heater kicks off and BOOM it happens...

It gets quiet and I hear from my computer speakers Mouseworld Radio an hour long Magic Kingdom background music loop...

My screensaver is flipping our 200+ pictures from our December trip...

I am then forced to come here and read the DISboards

Its just a vicious cycle, and I love it

Does this happen to anyone else?

This sounds like me! I have the screen saver going at work, and I also listen to mouseworld radio. I have to admit that my co-workers think I am disney obsessed, so I keep the music down! I am actually doing reception desk duty now since our receptionist is out sick, so I am able to get on the boards too.



And, when I get home, I will jump on the boards again! Yes a vicious cycle it is!!

Wow! I listen to Live 365 all day at work and once I get home, I rush for the computer!! My co-workers think I'm nutz also, but who cares? You can't have a bad day at work while listening to Disney!! And, of course, there are so many Disney websites....so little time!!!

Its so nice to see that I am not alone. The other thing I forgot to mention hanging on the wall next to my computer is my 6 postcards that I got from DVC last year of all the DVC resorts so of course that just adds to it

I knew I was spending too much time here when my DH came home one night from work and said to the kids "what'd you guys do today?" and my DS6 said "nothing, mom never gets off the computer"

My son is 6 and in kindergarten, has no homework, but uses this computer for learning games. My DD is 11 and jumps on anytime she needs it for schoolwork, which isn't very often.

We are definetly a breed all our own, us DISer's!!!!! tee hee, especially us people from PA. I have mouseworld radio running on my home computer all day long since I am home looking for a job.....which I had a great interview for one yesterday so I shouldn't be looking much longer. But what to do when I go to work, I can't listen to it where I am going......BUMMER. But on the other hand this job will pay for at least 1 fabulous WDW trip this year so I think that wins out.

Now, what cool screensavers are you talking about?? I don't have one......but I do have a kickin' picture of the Grand Floridian on my desktop.......we are hoping to stay there for the first time this year, well, my beau and I want to anyway. My dad likes the fort wilderness cabins, and so do I but I think the Grand is magnificient and I would love the convienence of it. He doesn't want to pay that money, but I plan to work hard this year to do it and I think since I will be working hard for my money why shouldn't I spend it how I want. What do you think it would take to convince him to splurge (for those of you who splurge to stay on the monorail)? He has an annual pass so if he gets a discount it wouldn't be too expensive to stay on the monorail.

Wow, I didn't plan to talk about all that when I started this post....geez I am long winded.......hee hee.....thanks for listening and helping gang!!

Talk about temptation... I often work from home where we just installed broadband . With nobody to look over my shoulder it is so easy to sit and play on Disney sites and check up on the DIS board every little while .

The drawback is I work on commission, so these days when I dream of Disney are the ones that in fact are keeping me from another trip to the magic kingdom.

Catch 22, eh?

First congratulations and good luck on getting your new job!! Hope it all works out and you have your Grand vacation

My screensaver is all of our pictures that we took on vacation in December. Its mostly my son with characters They do sell screensavers down at WDW, usually I have to pick one up each time we go.
