Well, at least it's not an all-or-nothing pass /fail. I know with DH taking the PE exam, it was annoying because it was just pass/fail. Best of luck to you on the balance of the exam in July!

Now.... to which fabulous restaurant in town will be heading to enjoy some stress-relieving adult beverages?? You deserve to celebrate.

Just got the mail...I only failed 2 out of 9 parts! I only have to pass one to pass the bar in July. Now I'm aggravated...I was SO close!

My husband and I took that stupid bar exam 19 years ago this July - most stressful time of our lives ever!!

I too wanted to say congratulations. I know it's not the best possible news but knowing you only have to retake two parts and pass only one should make the July portion much much less stressful.

I wish CA had the option of pass/fail on certain parts. It was the most grueling thing I have ever done. So I totally empathize with everything you are feeling and I commend you for being able to concentrate enough to pass 7 parts with such a beautiful baby to occupy the rest of your time.

Congrats on only needing to re-take two. That will make studying so much easier. PD sent to get you through till June. Do you have a job lined up? What type of law are in planning on practicing. I am a legal assistant for a family law/elder law attorney. Very stressful type of law, but very fulfilling as well.

As someone who had to suffer through the same experience two years ago while planning a wedding, moving to a new apartment and trying to find a job, I just wanted to say Congratulations and you should be very proud. I well remember the pressures and the fears. You passed 7 of the tests and that is an extreme accomplishment. Take a deep breath and try to relax. You have achieved more than you may realize. I know because I was right there myself not too long ago and I know how many people don't get as far as you

Thanks so much everyone. Your words of encouragement really mean a lot. I'm really not too down about it...it didn't come as a huge shock to be honest. It was really tough trying to concentrate on studying with DH, a 7 month old, and working full time...plus, I do procrastinate a bit.

What's frustrating is that I just failed the wrong two parts! Normally, 7 out of 9 is enough to pass. But there are 5 parts where you have to pass 4 out of 5 and I failed two of those so that's why I conditioned. *sigh* Just my luck!

I'll definitely be ready in July!

Oh yeah, you'll be more than ready in July. Congratulations on the other parts. I totally admire you for being able to do what you did. It's so difficult with a baby. I hope the rest isn't too hard to study for, and good luck.
