I quit my job!!!
After enduring months of on and off hostile enviroment and finding out my promised 40% increase wasn't reflected in my lastest check and finding out it never was going to materialize. And over-hearing a conversation that I was going to be fired next week once the holiday rush was over, I quit and walked out on the busiest day of the year. I feel 100% good about my decision. It's too bad, I did enjoy the work. But I grew tired of hearing other employees refered to as "retards" by the owner of the company, I got tired of hearing the word that got Isiah Washington in trouble on Grey's Anatomy. It is the first (and I hope last) time I encounter workplace homophobia (I was only out to my direct Boss) and the small minded-ness and bigotry.
Now, if I could only figure out what I want to do when I grow up.
