After lotsa of surfing, this is what I found RCI/Universal Resorts Pkg Click on "Cruisemates"

"RCI has launched a seven-night "Orlando Experience" package, a seven-night program featuring a four-night Sovereign of the Seas cruise from Port Canaveral, accommodations at the Portofino Bay Hotel a two-day pass to Universal Studios, $20 meal voucher at Hard Rock Cafe, one-day admission to the Guinness World Records Experience attraction and a 15% discount on Alamo car rentals. The "Orlando Experience" package starts at $968 per person, double occupancy."

Has anybody experienced this?

Hi Sherilette,
I haven't experienced that. I did however, just book my own cruise through Carnival. We are going to HRH for four nights with a 3 day pass to US/IOA, then on to the Carnival for a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas.

I didn't use any kind of pkg. I booked it all myself except for the cruise. I did use a Carnival TA for that part though.

I booked all of ours for a family of four. The tickets to US/IOA for 2 adults, 2 kids was $350.00, HRH-pool view is $970.00 (I'm waiting to get an ent. rate when they are released for June 2002), cruise for four $2,300.00. We did get an automatic 2 category upgrade on our cabin.

Maybe this will help to give you a little info. Good luck with all your planning.

Kim

It sounds like you have a wonderful vacation planned with a cruise combination. You got quite a deal on everything except your stay at HRH, but I'm sure you'll remedy that with the 2002 ent. books. When do you set sail and what ship will you be sailing on? We did a 7 day on Carnival's Imagination a while back and had a blast. Your kids are going to love it. :D

I would have loved to do a 7-day cruise! But my kids are insisting on going to US/IOA......and we can't do both. So we compromised on a 4-day cruise with 4 nights at HRH.

We are spending June 19-22 at HRH, then June 23-27 on the boat. We will be on the Fantasy. I am so excited! I've never been on a cruise before. My 10 year old can't wait to go snorkling in Nassau. My 7 year old wants to take the glass-bottom boat excursion. Did you guys do any excursions? How were they?

I keep checking with HRH about every two weeks to see if any ent. rates have been released. They keep telling me they are in the computer but won't be released for a while yet. Some of them say Aug. and others say Sept. I guess I will keep calling until I can get something better. I've never paid rack rate before and certainly don't want to start now. ;)
