I found the BEST trip report notebooks in WH Smith!

Hi everyone, I have completely run out of things to plan and it is about 50 days till take off for us so I thought it was about time to organise my journal / trip report stationery

Went to WH Smith at lunch time yesterday and found a FUNKY A5 hardback notebook with a plush Mickey motiff on the front & little mickeys on every page, and a smaller paperback notebook with little Mickey's on. They are absolutely perfect - I'm going to keep the hardback one at the hotel and write it up every evening, and take the smaller one round with me to write notes

I've already started the hardback one with details of our planning, when we booked / paid for everything, and our itinery etc etc... it's really brought back all the excitement!!

I tried to get a link from their website but they don't seem to sell them online - its a bit like this but the mickey is different (you can see his legs and both his ears):

Anyway, I am rambling now - really wanted to say that it is well worth a look if you're wanting a nice book to write your memories in and keep for the future

I have the ring binder and A-4 lined pad as part of my Trip Planning stationery. And a very kind person gave me some matching pencils and an eraser.

My brother gave me a £20 WH Smith gift card for my birthday, I think I know what I am going to spend it on now!

When I left my job last year to start my own business I was given WHSmith vouchers and these are exactly what I spent them on

I'll be sad with you as I have the pencils, pens, erasers, pencil case, all sizes of notebooks and diaries, A4 folders and the like. The only thing I didn't buy was the graphite lead pencil!

I work as a learning mentor in a school and all my files are ..... yep you guessed it Mickey ones.
They all laugh with me at school as they know how mad I am about Disney, but everyone knows who the files belong to and where everything is kept.
The children love it as well they especially like it when I wear the Disney pins.
And a must when I travel over there is to bring back those Mickey mouse stickers.
The CM's are always really nice I explain that I work in a school and they always give me rolls of them.
So I can spread some magic when I get back, believe me you wouldn't believe the smiles you can get from a mickey sticker !!

I love my OH - he went out today and also got, in the same style, a folder for all our tickets / vouchers etc, some more little books, and the best thing of all - a photo box!

BRILLIANT!!

I think I'm going to have to get the writing implements as well.. overkill overshmill!!

It all sounds very nice and far too organised! I usually scribble on a napkin when we sit down to eat .....maybe I shouldn't say that on here!
I like the pens and stationery though very pretty!

Nice one, must admit I never write any notes or anything on holiday but can see why many do and these books look cool.
