I was SUPER nervous about mailing my dress prior to the wedding and made the decision to instead try and fit it into my carryon bag!
I didn't know if it would actually work since its a plus size ballgown but holy crap it did!
My dress:
The process:
We started by turning the dress inside out and putting a plastic dress bag on the inside to protect it from beads snagging on anything
and then we rolled it into a ball until it would fit inside the bag
Not pictured is the giant dress bag I put on top of the dress to protect it from the bags zipper
