I Finished My Cancer Treatments Today!

Some happy news for the CB for a change - this morning I had the last of my radiation treatments for breast cancer, so I'm done with all my treatments!! Now I just wait for my hair to grow back and go to my follow-up appts. Thank you all for all your support these past 6 months! You'll never know how much it meant to me. I'm going to be smiling all day long!

(If you're new and don't know what's been going on, here's the condensed version - they found a lump on my mammogram in Feb., I had a lumpectomy in March, started chemo in April, and had radiation July-Aug.)

Yep, we ARE celebrating with a trip to WDW, but not until June. DH used up all his vac this year coming with me to my chemo treatments and taking the boys to scout camp. I already made our reservations with Dreams - 6 days WDW, 4 day USF/IOA.

DH and I are taking a little weekend trip in Sept. for a mini-celebration, just the 2 of us. We're going to Oglebay in Wheeling, WV. We always take the kids to Oglebay in Dec. for their Festival of Lights; this is the first time we're going when it's not cold! The only thing I want to think about that weekend is what I'm going to order for dinner. Time to relax!
