I finished an album!!

I am so excited...HUGE Scrapbooking Accomplishment this weekend!!!

I went to a crop all day yesterday and did 20 pages. This morning I got up, and worked most of the day journaling, and finishing up the last 5 pages. I just got the page protectors on and the album put back together. It's from our Spring Break trip to Texas. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I spent way more time on it than I usually do on my layouts, trying some new technques and some time consuming techniques, but I wanted it to be really fun and silly and reflect our trip.

Congratulations!

I think it is both exciting and sad to finish an album. Exciting because it is finally finished but sad because I will miss working on it.

Congrats! I'm so jealous!! I haven't been working on mine at all.
There's just nothing like that feeling of accomplishment, is there? What's your next album going to be?

Bananiem: I'm not sure what my next album is going to be...My folks went to Hawaii last month and I promised my mom I would do an album for them.

I am also about ready to start an album(s) for my nephew (starting from birth to present...he's almost 16, so that will be some work!)

Ongoing albums that I have are:

Family album
DD's album
DD's school album

My husband started a new business (or rather an extention on the one he was in) He is in corporate sales and has been doing lots of logo stuff (and I was the art major!! )
I have been keeping the finished product, ads as they have come out in the newspaper, etc... and I would like to do an album of that stuff for him. I haven't quite decided what it will be or how I will go about it. I have one of those Creative Memories black leather albums that I have never used. I might do it more like a "portfolio" I can't decide.

I have also saved a lot of photos/info/memoribila about Sept. 11/War on Terrorism and I would like to put together an album about that.

Don't even know where to start!!

That is a great accomplishment!! I could not imagine doing 20 pages in one day! It is wonderful to complete a album and move on to new things isn't it!
