I seem to find a majority of my deals on this budget board, but I don't think I've ever found something I thought was worthy of posting until yesterday. I've read on here about people who check out the end cap clearance displays and decided that while I was at Target yesterday my mission was to check them all out. Well the first one I hit was in the electronics department. They have a Fender Starcast electric guitar and amp set which was originally $199 on clearance for, drum roll please, $49.99 I was so excited when I saw this, DS has been taking guitar lessons on his acustic and has been begging for a decent electric guitar so I texted a pic of the guitar to my brother who knows much more than I do about them and he said it was a great deal so I snapped it right up. I am so excited. DS' birthday isn't until August so I have to hide it until then but he is going to be so excited when he gets it. They also had the acustic set which was originally $149 for $37, wish they had that in Sept when I bought DS his for $150 at a different store, oh well, at least I got a killer deal on this one.

Hi all! Just thought I'd let you know if you didn't, that you can ask your Target employees what day that they mark down, and then start your clearance shopping then! I've been checking my two Targets endcaps for years! Today, I found $12.00 scissors for $3.00, scrapbooking stickers that were originally $4.99 for 1.00. You can always find something, if you know when to look! A month ago, I found 4 Roombas that were marked down from $300 to $149, and $ 99.00. It really is a deal if you can take the time to keep checking the endcaps! And remember, it's the endcaps that face the walls, not the main aisles! Good luck and happy shopping!

If you go to attentiontargetshoppers.com you will find everything you need to know about perimeter perusing. That's how i started with my Target obsession. It keeps my shelves stocked as well as having something to do right after i drop the kids off in the morning. It's an entire community out there dedicated to "Perimeter Perusing". Have fun
