I finally got to ride The Mummy today!!!!

Well, after hearing from you guys how great this is and reading all those articles, I got to ride it. I was last at Universal the weekend before they started testing so I missed it last time. To say I love this ride is an understatement!!!! After I got locked into the seat and I couldn't move my legs I realized that it was going to be a fast one. It was. I was a little shaky when I first got off (I am such a wimp on fast coasters ), but I absolutely loved it!!!
I was looking for Dark Maurader, but I didn't know his first name to be able to say hi.
I am going back in a few weeks to ride it again. I can't wait to see what the animatronics look like when they are working.
This ride was better than what I expected!!!

Hmmmm... So what you're saying is they opened it for testing AGAIN pre-animatronics, and just 6 days before the official opening? That is strange. Also, I thought the animatronics were being installed last week. Anyways, glad you got to ride it. Looking forward to it!

The animatronics may or may not be operating during Tech Rehersal. They have been off the past 2 days, but they may be running at any time.

They worked two times yesterday (around noon), but then we went back around 3:00 and they were off.

On Friday, the two animatronics at the beginning of the ride were working, very, very cool. First time I rode and saw these figures (after riding 89 times during first TR), I spent the rest of the ride with my mouth wide open.

Can't wait until figure #3 is finished.

I got to ride Mummy...twice yesterday too....woo hoo..yippee...First time animatronics were on, second time off, glad I got to see it on..Can't wait for December when it is running fully....

Mummy called me to Orlando you know and I HAD to go...

Dark Marauder were you the guy standing in the que line as people entered on sunday May 16th before you enter the stairs area...if so, you are terrific at that!!!!
