lol @ thunderstorm Ami.

That's awesome Rog - Congratulations! You must be all fired up. Wishing you many many great years of camping in it.
p.s. I'd like to make a reservation at the site it's parked at now. Do you offer water and electric?

Congratulations on finding the right popup for you! I hope you and your family have many enjoyable trips! I'm glad the fridge is working - ours takes a looong time to get cold too.

At MY age...Im proud to still be able to pop-up once in a while...To the adults of the forum......the pop-up has been officially christened!!!;)

...p.s. I'd like to make a reservation at the site it's parked at now. Do you offer water and electric?
Suuuuure......and it much cheaper than FW!:)

... I'm glad the fridge is working - ours takes a looong time to get cold too.

It doesnt exactly get COLD...but I guess it may be cool enough to stop milk from spoiling:confused3

Ive been busy in it today.....I had planned on being in a campsite by now...but I had to order my hitch because no one localcarried one except for the Ford dealership, and they wanted over twice as much as etrailer.com, so I ordered the ramps for my golf cart as well and STILL came out cheaper than buying from Ford. It SHOULD be here anyday now,I hope.

Anyway.....Heres some stuff I did today....(took the pics with my cell phone...its already dark out and its got no flash...but ya get the idea)

The interior has an awfull olive green colored set of curtains....not my style at all...so Im replacing them with some safari cheetah crap...

the booth cushions were this ugly-butt christmas colored plaid that really wasnt working for me....so....more safari crap....and I covered the table with black vinyl.

The floor really wasnt too bad,but it didnt match with the jungle-ish stuff...so, Im gonna use these cheap, fake wood looking vinyl tiles...

I dont know anything about upholstery, so I didnt buy enough fabric to finish anything (except the table and floor),but I'll get the rest tomorrow and finish the curtains and booth.Im going to make a valance out of the zebra stuff above the cheetah curtains. Im thinking I may cover the cabinets and fridge door with either white or black(or a combination of both)shelving paper.

WHY SAFARI?????Because Gina and the girls originally picked out this black fabric with neon pink polka dots.....the contrast was cool, and the fabric looked ok....but then they started talking about all this neon pink bedding and crap to match the polka dots.:scared1: ALERT ALERT ALERT!!! DANGER Will Rogerson, the enemy is atempting to over-feminize the thing youve wanted and conived your way into for what seems to have been FOREVER..:scared:..DO SOMETHING,QUICK!!!!!!.....I used the 6 year old's love of animals to sway them into the jungle thingy....leaving NO ROOM for a bunch of pink bedding!!! Whew!!!

Great recovery on the upolstery Rog and Congradulations on the christining. Now you can concentrate on going camping. I went and looked at my first Toy Hauler today. So the future is bring mapped as I type this. Heres to more debt. LOL

I LOVE the zebra fabric! You're a regular interior decorator! You should hire yourself out.....

congrats on the christening. Did you break a bottle of champagne on the bow of the PUP too or just drink it?

Love the "Animal Kingdom" theme! I could not have pink in my camper, either and I'm a girl - just not into pink. My DD6 would absolutely love the animal prints. Nice job!

Congrats on your pop-up! We are also a big family(6) with a pop-up and are thinking of getting a golf cart (not as cool as yours though) and for the life of us cannot think of a way to haul both at the same time:confused3 If you have figured this out would you mind sharing????:worship::worship:

Rog, I love the animal print decor!!! The pimping has begun!! :woohoo:

it must have rained, therefore it's christened.

Can anyone tell me if the lights or AC run off of propane as well...or is it only the fridge?

I found a damp spot on my ceiling tonight....it hasnt rained in days....it must be the AC condensation leaking into the roof!!! SHould I even bother tryin to repair this myself? Or should I schedule an appointment with an RV shop? Do they even HAVE rv repair shops? Maaaaaan...its allways SOMETHING in my life!!!

I finished the floor and crap tonight...but the damp ceiling kinda drained the joy out of that:(

Great job, Rog!!

Take a look at the A/C unit itself. There should be a drain & it may just be plugged up. If the caulking is bad, that may also be your problem. Stick a garden hose on the roof near the A/C & turn it on to a trickle. If water's coming in from that, the caulking needs to be re-done.

The propane only runs the fridge, stove & water heater. On the water heater, there is a kit you can buy to add an electric heating element to it. In addition to the fridge, water heaters find propane delicious, too! The more you can get to run off electricity, the better.

DaNg! Rog, that is soooo pimp! Where ya gonna put the gold pole?! LOL

:santa:
