I finally bought a new stroller

I could not pick between the Axiom and the Liberty but in the end I saw how both fold and the Baby jogger liberty wins hands down! I should arrive next week and hope it will last at least 5 years for DS. I didn't find any information on either for transportation guidelines for the bus. I did order the carry bag for the airlines and the rain cover.

I am sorely disappointed in BCBS who turned down our claim for the new stroller. However upon calling previously they stated they will not cover any services that relate to autism.

Congrats on your new stroller. We are moving to Orlando and I've really been contemplating whether we will buy a high tech stroller big enough for our 6yo or bite the bullet and make him walk since we will most likely have the opportunity to go to the parks in smaller doses. The last thing I want to do is have to carry him from the back of Epcot to the parking lot LOL

Hope it works out well for you, let us know when you get it! Sorry the insurance wouldn't help with the cost. Hopefully soon it will be illegal not to cover autism costs.

thanks for the response. We also just wondered if we should spend the money or not because it was such a major purchase. He can walk but makes choices not too and then the melt down and all the other issues that go with the autism. So we bought it and are now just waiting for it arrive on Friday.

I will hopefully get some pictures once we get it together.

I'm sure it will make your trip much more pleasant. When Ben walks its always either we are pulling him or running to keep up, or he has 2 peoples hands and is hanging from us. He doesn't love Disney like we do and really enjoys having his own cave, so we will probably end up getting a large jogging stroller of some type to get us by for a while. He is 6 but tiny at 36 lbs.

I'd like to see pics of that too. I thought about a stroller for DN4 but he really needs something that he can ride the bus in.
