They're already talking about the spin-off of Gossip Girl.
Gossip Girl isn't going away for a while, as they're set for a second season...

Doesn't it seem early to already be doing the It Girl as a show?
Now, I love the It Girl books (it's my guilty pleasure, I know they're kind of silly...) but I'm not crazy about Taylor Momsen...
And I don't want to see them ruin any of the other characters and go completely off plot.
And I can't seem to write this thread in a good manner...

So thoughts?

I just read that GGs creator denied the rumours.

GOOD.

I like GG the way it is!!
I wouldn't want Jenny to leave the show.

Yeah, I read that earlier.
I think it's bound to happen sooner or later.
The spin-off series of books exist, if there's enough people for it, it'll happen.
Eventually they might actually USE some of the plots from the GG books, and one of them is that Jenny does some sort of risque fashion show and is asked to leave Constance Billard.

Schwarts says, "Not sure how this got out there, but no plans for spinoff at this moment. The books do have a spinoff, but we have nothing in the works right now other than making sure season two gets off to a great start."

so thankfully it's not in the works at this moment...
