DS6 is home sick today, so I thought I would attempt one of the name designs, with the images in the background. It's MUCH easier than I thought, once I got the hang of it.

Oh the possibilities!

Now, I need to come up with something new and creative.

Awesome Job!!! Looks like a pro created it. Can't wait to see some more designs you've created.

Another simple outline... this is a bit addicting..

but, I still want to come up with a *new* idea. DS6 should stay home sick more often!

GOOD FOR YOU! They look great.

Watch out. It is so addicting. :rotfl2:

I can't remember, are you using PSE? Try using some of the emboss/drop shadow features around the shape too. It makes them really stand out! Keep it up and keep sharing. It's so much fun to do and even more fun when you get some encouragement from all the great people on this board!:goodvibes

I am using paint.NET. I will definitely try some shadows, thanks for the tips! I have to take a break to pay bills.. but, I'll be back working on more soon!

I like that one too. I can only imagine how addicting it is. I would love to try it myself but I go to school full time and work part time and have several other activities going on I just can't add another. So may during spring break (only 3 more weeks).:goodvibes

embossing does very weird things to my outline. I'll have to play with that feature a lot more before I perfect it.

I LOVE IT:) Great job:) I can't design diddly, so you are blessed for sure:) Keep it up:)

Another one, based on an idea I read about.

All of the photos are my kids, meeting different characters.

Still working with the embossing tool. Once I use it, my outline becomes too distorted to make the middle invisible. But, I'm sure I'll figure it out. :wizard:

You figured out how to do the Mickey Head! I can do the letters now thanks to Amy and Kari but can't figure out the mickey head. Can you help me? I am using PSE (I know you're using something different but hopefully, I can follow)! Amy & Kari....if you read this, can you help me? You guys helped me get the details with the letters but can't figure out the head shape. Thanks!!

How did you do the mosaic design? I don't think we can do this in Photoshop Elements but I like that look!

Mosaics can be done in PSE. Each character and the background in my signature are all separate images resized and placed together. Just open each image and resize it to a uniform size. Then copy it and paste it behind a mask you create of the Mickey head.

Plantlady,

That mickey head with your kids is way too cute. What a wonderful idea!:thumbsup2
