I think you are reading too much into the posts. There is a huge difference between criticizing/questioning the situation and those involved and "hating" those involved.

I totally agree with you......this woman has never shown anything but grace and class in every situation. The only thing I think is at the time when she wasn't able to compete for the spot on the team(because of injury) I think she shouldn't have been able to petition to get on the team, it should have gone directly to Emily. But my heart goes out to her for having to leave this way. She conducted herself with class, it has a lot to say about her upbringing.
