I feel so privileged

On a walk today with the dogs we came across all sorts of animals, from ducks to songbirds from lively koi carp (that actually jumped out of the water for us!) and - get this - wild deer! Nature can sure be beautiful.

LOL. And I witnessed Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom today. Walking in our local park (it's just a wooded area in the middle of several subdivisions) around 5:30 a.m. I saw 4 female deer running. Then I turned around and saw they were being chased by a rather large and well-fed coyote.

We have herds of deer across the road from us occasionally. I counted at least 40 one time.
