.. Patrick Troughton! I was up the other night dazed and confused at 4am for the announcement of the 12th Doctor. Ok, so it wasn't the most riveting television but I don't care! I had a mug of hot chocolate and donut ready in preparation for the replacement of Matt Smith (thank goodness).

Thank goodness!! No, no, no, Matt was wonderful, he was all that is crazy and scattered and human within the Doctor. I'm looking forward to seeing where Peter Capaldi takes the role, but I will miss 11. 3 was my first but 4 and 5 were my favourites as a child.

Back on topic, please don't go Karen, yes they can be a bit mental on the 'other side' but for me, I just get a laugh out of it and have to stop myself egging them on.

Frankly i cannot believe all the stuff that people are prepared to reveal on a chat board. But i do not dare comment - some of them come right at ya!

People were threatening to BOYCOTT the show! I think it's ok now and those people finally managed to cope with the extra couple of inches.


Then of course there was the time they didn't put the stick of celery on the jacket of the 5th Doctor action figure. That became known as 'celerygate'.
