anyway another thread made me think about this. We are going to DL in less than a month. We have 4 day park hopper tickets coming to us. We are thinking about going back again Oct 2010 for Halloween. I noticed that the price of a Deluxe pass is $289 (roughly $99 more than we paid for the 4 day hoppers).
Here's the question: Is is possible to turn in the hoppers and get APs instead for the year? We'll save money in the long run if/when we do go back later in the year. Or are we out of luck since we already purchased the tickets for the upcoming trip.

I believe you can upgrade the hoppers at the park, you just pay the difference
On the board, they always suggest you upgrade on the last day of your visit, since the AP expires a year from first use, so you'll get some "bonus days".
There should be some kind of government rebate aswell, the medication is darn expensive.
