I feel like I am doing something wrong

I have been playing around with Ridemax. We are going Mon. Aug 17-Fri Aug 21. I've been using a week in July to play around with ride options. by Wed evening I have everything we want to ride in the plans, with LOTS of time in between. Almost thinking we have too much time in between (we commando WDW and spend the entire day in the parks) Including 2 priority seatings, and the shows/parades at night. I've read opinions here that it takes 4 days to do the parks, is Ridemax just that good, or does it really not take 4 days? (I do have Aladin scheduled on the 4th day, only because it isn't offered M-W). Or do people do the rides multiple times, which I did not schedule in yet.

It seems odd to me, I was so worried that we wouldn't get it all done, and now I see we have a ton of extra time. (I'm NOT complaining, just wondering why some struggle with getting the rides in... AKA wondering if I am doing something wrong?

On that note, we still have friday, we have till about 5 pm. Not sure what rides we are going to want to do again, do you use Ridemax and guess at what rides to redo, or do you take that last day at a bit slower pace to soak it in??? HELP, I feel disoriented almost trying to figure this out.

Yes, RideMax is THAT good, but at the same time, if you are used to going from "8 'til late" (signature phrase), then yes, 4 days may seem like a bit much. I'm this type of person, and I can get all of the major highlights done in 2 days without Ridemax. However, not everyone is a super planner and people like to take breaks and take their time in the parks. And also people do ride certain rides multiple times.

That big block of time in the middle is when it's most crowded so RM has you avoid it.

It may seem like a big chunk of time now, but after you've been running around all day, going on as many rides as possible, it will be a welcome break!

I just got Ridemax  and agree that even without it, you can definitely get everything done in fewer than 4 days. I would suggest you re-do what you think will be your favorites. If you really want to go "commando-style" then you can repeat rides your first three days too. My plan for our trip of 3.5 days is to do most of the rides/attractions we really want to do on Day 1, finish the rest out on Day 2, and fill in all the things we've left out on the following days. I think my schedules have Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and probably Indiana Jones every day, as well as Pirates of the Caribbean, of course (how could I not? :) ).

I agree with the mid-day break advice, but if your hotel is so far that you will need to take a shuttle/drive back, then you might prefer to just find a nice place inside the parks/Downtown Disney to relax and rest. If you were doing 2 days I'd definitely advise just going as long as you can without stopping, but there's no need to push yourself like that if you have so many days at DL.

I've been wanting to check out ridemax for a while, but alas... I have a Mac. I can't use it. :sad1:

I hope your trip works out just the way you want it to. :goodvibes Have a great trip and make lots of happy memories.
