What is up with me today?? I feel like eating everything I see. I've got my big water glass going, but I can't get my mind off of FOOD! What do you do when you feel like this????

I try to load up on low-pt foods and sometimes I don't really eat a "meal" but a couple small grazings instead. maybe not the absolute most healthiest, but I figure I don't "need" to eat a meal just for the sake of it when I really just need to graze!!!!
Popcorn is very filling too - find a high fiber snack. How about making a cup of hot tea? Gum?
You will get through this day, yes you will. And you will feel soooo good about yourself when you look back tomorrow over the good choices you made!!!!
ps - don't beat yourself up if you do eat more than you'd planned, tomorrow is a brand new day!
I can kind of relate even though I am doing Atkins. I had lost all my major cravings for the bad stuff and last week we went ot Red Lobster for the crablegs and I ate a biscuit. The first time I have cheated at all and now this week I have wanted to eat everything in sight. It has been a huge struggle for me. Today for instance I had to help with chocolate pudding at work(school lunchroom) I swear I could have taken a spoon and eaten at least a whole can of the stuff(10 # cans). I know I would have been sick as a dog but it was really hard to resist. Yesterday it was cookies and the day before it was cake(enough for 900 servings) TOUGH WEEK!!!(I have resisted but it has been SOOOOOO hard.
I am also on Atkins and I usually have those days once a month! I do the same as OhMom and try to stock up on macadamia nuts, different types of cheeses, brocolli (my favorite!)...then I just eat a few more smaller meals a day...usually does the trick...I also always have a huge glass of water going at all times, which keeps me feeling full!
