I got up my usual time this morning, grabbed a cup of coffee and watched the weather before I got my oldest 2 up for school. As I am drinking my coffee, I hear a faint "meow", but I can't figure out where it is coming from!! I look around the living room...no Sabrina. I glanced out the front window and there she is. Someone in this house, defintely NOT me, put her out last night on her leash and FORGOT to bring her in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :earseek: She had tangled herself around the railing and only had about 18" of chain free to move. :( I felt horrible that she was out all night and furious at the person who put her out!! No one will fess up to putting her outside. :headache: Of course, the way I ranted when I brought her in, it's no wonder! :scared: The latest theory among the kids is that "the ghost" did it! (you know, I'm sure every parent out there has a ghost in their house - it's the one who doesn't put the new roll of t.p. on, the one who leaves a mouthful of milk in the carton.............) :worried:

Sabrina is safely in the house, sleeping under a blanket in the rocking chair. I imagine she'll be there most of the day. :(

Poor kitty. I'm glad that she's ok.

Good thing you dont live around here today...

Nasty storms all night into the morning...Of course my cat has done this, he sneaks out of the house, and then wont come back in...so he spend the night outside....He then wont go near the door for about 2 days, then is back at it again...They never learn....

And your CAT is leash trained?

Glad kitty is safe. Nasty storms here too and kitties and dog are all snuggled up on beds and safe. Dog is usually out in her pen but not with the storms we had last night.

Yes, Sabrina is leash trained! :bounce: When she was younger, I didn't want her outside loose. She is 5 now, and I will let her outside during the DAY without her leash, but once 4:00 comes, I only let her out on a leash. I am afraid she'll be out all night. She is a black and white cat (mostly black, white paws, a white stripe down her nose and white under her neck and belly) and our street doesn't have lights. The one time she was out all night, the kids and I were in a panic thinking the worst would happen! :crazy2:
