I haven't heard about the direct payments not happening. I thought these were part of the bill that just passed? I will have to look into it.

When the IRS extended the tax filing deadline, it impacted their ability to get the direct payment system up and running by July. They have said if they can't get it going by July, they likely won't bother.

DH and I made under $100K and didn't receive either the second or the third payments, even though we qualify. I know the 2nd check will be deducted from what we owe in taxes this year, but still... would have been nice to have the money to pay the bills. This whole thing is screwed up.
