I-Drive, transport to parks?

If a family is staying on I-Drive, and the hotel doesn't say in their information that they have shuttles to the parks, what is the best way to get there, if you don't have a car? Are there non-hotel shuttles? I see that the I-drive trolley doesn't go as far as Universal. What other options are out there?

We took a taxi last time we stayed on I-Drive....it wasn't expensive since it's pretty close.....$15 I think. We got the name from the phonebook and had our driver there in 10 minutes, he was great! Good luck, have a wonderful trip!

I have never done it, but Could you use LYNX the public transportation? I think it goes to the Transportation and Ticket Center.
