Staying at continental plaza on I drive. Very near universal. How easy is it to get to Disney without uber/taxi/driving? Also I want to do all 4 Disney main parks, 2 universal main parks and SeaWorld and I'm from the UK what's the best ticket to get and website to use?

One optional website you could try is called, "Attraction Tickets Direct." I don't know if they have the best prices, but they are legit, and likely offer some kind of combo ticket option deal.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "without uber/taxi"? The Orlando area has a few options. There is a public transit bus, but I don't know if they serve your hotel, and from what I have read, it takes a long time to travel by public bus if it is an option. Your hotel might have a free shuttle bus, but those can also cost quite a bit of time. Try calling the hotel. You might be able to walk to Universal- not sure. At present, your hotel, Sea World and WDW are otherwise only connected by roads, so otherwise you'll have to pay for transportation. Otherwise, a few companies offer towncars and shuttle buses. Shuttle buses are also going to take extra time over a taxi, and towncars cost quite a bit more, but often allow a grocery stop when coming from the airport.

Probably your best option would be to get a rental car, especially if you want to see WDW, US, and Sea World.

WDW and Universal are about half an hour apart when it isn't rush hour.

Thanks for your reply. I can't drive unfortunately and what I meant was without using uber or a taxi as I'm going solo so want to avoid high costs. I believe their is a free shuttle but not sure of the times. Universal is about 25 minutes walking on Google maps so can easily walk there. Was just wondering if there was an easy way but I'm guessing I will have to the free shuttle if public transport won't get me there.

No public transportation to speak of, contact your hotel for information on how their shuttle might work.

Have booked 12 nights.
So jealous! :P

I think your best option is uber/lyft, I don’t know of any free public transportation/shuttle between universal and disney. Can’t comment on SeaWorld because I’d never go and never have.

Usually the free shuttles leave at a relatively fixed time. they sometimes only operate a few times a day, other times you call for it...then wait.....and the wait might be substantial.

12 nights from the UK! You're going to have a great trip! We'll be spending 7 nights in the UK this fall before our cruise and are looking forward to our travels there!

Trip Advisor reviews mention the hotel has a free shuttle to Disney twice a day and a free shuttle to Sea World (not sure if that's once or twice). When we stayed off property the hotel shuttle was great and very convenient. Be sure to remember you will have to work around their schedule - so you probably won't be able to Rope Drop and stay until the parks completely close (you may miss evening shows). I did research public transit before our trip and found that the shuttle would take less time and be less of a headache. Though we were at a different hotel than you'll e staying I think from Orlando hotels into WDW is like that.

And it looks like it is indeed walk-able to Universal. We haven't been to Universal Studios, but plan on going "one day" - there's just always so much to do in Orlando. There are sites that have discounted tickets, perhaps combos, that would work well for you. I hear lots of folks mention Undercover Tourist, that might be a good place to start. A little research for a reputable site and you can get those covered. We have good luck with Sea World tickets directly, they often have deals online.

I highly recommend a Touring Plans subscription before your trip! They have WDW and Universal Studios memberships that help you plan so much. This is a big trip, you're paying a lot of money for $20 more (less than 20 pounds) Touring Plans helps you plan your day, an ideal order to go on rides with minimal waits, fastpass suggestions. I think there are other companies who are similar. They are probably also great, we just use Touring Plans and love it.

Have a great trip!

I beg to differ, the area IS served by Lynx bus. It just takes extra time.

Walking from hotel to Universal takes about 27 minutes. There is also a Lynx bus, but g-maps says it takes 42 minutes to arrive via Lynx bus. OP walks to I-Drive and waits at stop 37 (Park Pormenade Plaza/N Niawassee Rd.) the bus comes approximately every half hour, and stops at Universal. It costs $2.

THOUGH A BETTER option would be to walk over to the New Endless Summer resort (12min walk) and take the hotel's shuttle bus to Universal.

HOWEVER - VIA CAR - it takes only 6 minutes. Taking an Uber would cost $6.55.

To get to Epcot via bus takes about an hour. OP would walk 21minutes to the Universal Studios bus stop(or take the Endless Summer bus) fomr US bus stop, the Lynx bus takes 34minutes, and drops off just outside Epcot (8minute walk from the IG entrance). VIA CAR/UBER- it takes 23 minutes (traffic allowing). the bus costs $2, while an Uber Uber costs approximately 15.50.

Getting to the other Disney parks via bus takes longer. MK takes about 90 minutes via bus, instead of 22 minutes via Uber/Taxi. (again, non rush hour)

******************

Sea World isn't bad via bus. It only takes about 39 minutes (though Uber would only take 17minutes). I think again you'd be looking at $2 for the Lynx bus, and $9 for an Uber.

In my opinion, I could maybe see the walking to US (or taking the Endless Summer shuttle), and maybe take the bus to Sea World. for most of WDW though, I think the time savings of the Uber is well worth the difference in price. If not both ways- at least consider taking an Uber one-way to the parks. Keep in mind, you will be walking the whole time you are in the parks. There's also a significant trade off between transportation time and time in the parks.

If I was constructing a trip budget, I see about keeping food costs as low as possible, then splurge a little more on transportation. I think I'd also skip Sea World, at $100, and spend a non-park day or spend an extra day at Universal. But it depends what kind of combo deal you are offered in the UK. Right now, I see a UK deal on a WDW+ Universal combo ticket good for unlimited entry to all WDW parks +water parks+ US, IoA and Volcano Bay for 677 pounds.
