We are still considering Orlando again sometime next spring. We want to stay on International Drive.

We previously have stayed at the Four Points but its prices have doubled since the last time we stayed.

We are looking for clean, nice 3* quality with free internet access in the rooms for £40-60 per room per night (school holidays - Easter/May).

Any experiences or suggestions?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

If you like Four points it seems about same price as before for me, where you looking?
Alpharooms for May half term £34.77 less 5% Quidco = £33.03/night

Easter 16th-30 £57.96 less 5% = £55.06

I always find Easter the most expensive time of year for hotels.

Could be cheaper elsewhere if I knew exact dates.

We paid £42/night for the Four Points last year (Easter). Coming up at £75 on hotels.com.

We don't have exact dates yet as we've not booked flights.

Hi, we stayed in Quality Inn International in July and this hotel had free wi-fi in the rooms, a good location, recently refurbished and very clean. Would stay here again if we hired a car due to the distance on the buses to WDW but the hotel does offer free transport to US and IOA.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I'm not too sure on the price for 2011, but its a nice cheap place to stay in my experience. :thumbsup2

Does Easter fall same though? School holidays are 1 week before Easter and 1 week after so it is peak time both weeks.
This year the school hols were 2 weeks after Easter so 1 peak and 1 low.

If you price up 16th-30th(1 week before & 1 week after) you get £55/night
If you price up 23rd-7th May (2 week after) you get £47/night

You will also find the parks packed for both weeks as opposed to like this year 1st week ppacked 2nd week quieter.

All depends how Easter hols fall in your area, ours are 16th-30th here.

Forgot to say Hotels.com/Expedia group are usually very expensive now unless they have any offers on but thats rare.

Yes but we would go for 9-12 nights of those 2 weeks, depending on when flights are cheapest. Our Easter holidays begin on the 9th.

We have been at Easter several times; the crowds don't bother us. We arrive early.

1st thing to do is book flights then look for hotel, there could be an an offer on for those dates.
