Hello, My name is Hallie and I will explain my title in a moment. I am the crazyone in the family that is hook on disney. From Movies to Parks. I am so HAPPY :cool1: I get to go back this year. :woohoo: I haven't been their since 2005.

It's been a long wait, I was told I would have to wait another 2 years after this trip to book and plan another wdw trip. I think not. I will start to put money aside so I can go next year, I hope it happens. :rolleyes1 :yay:

Anyways back to my title I don't want to hear one complaint. Well I have been to disney 4-5 times and I know it may not seem like a lot. Anyways this trip I am not getting any help! I am only 23 and not one person is giving me any or in some cases very little help. They all say just plan it. Its from resort to ADRs to Park days, it all me. Which in some cases its great :) others I'd really like some kind of input.

Our Trip is in June when everyone is out of school okay when the niece and my mother our out of school/work. While the rest of us have to take a week off of work. But for me thats fine Its for Disney.

Coming up who is going

Hi Miss Hallie! I loooooove Disney planning. I am also like, no complaints from you if I make all these plans. :) But I am the biggest Disney nut in my family, so I would probably be the one who was the most upset if I didn't get to do something. Which is why my family usually leaves the planning up to me. :rotfl: Anyway, I am subbing, and I would LOVE to give you MY personal input for your trip! :rotfl2:

Oh, and we are the same age! Wahoo! :thumbsup2 (until April anyway) :)

Welcome Jewels trhank you for visiting my PTR. Happy Early Birthday. I will be 23 till october. I would love any input!

So on this Trip I am suprising my Sister, Brother in law to be and, niece with a cake. I would like any input from anyone who has done this should you get the cake the first day in the middle of the week or the last day.

But then again here is my problem, I don't know when the park hours are for June. and I can't make ADR until March 23rd.

I would like to either do a cake the First Night when the whole family is together or the last day of our trip when the whole family is together.

Oh Where o where will we stay.
With so many Disney Resorts where does one stay and do you call a place home. For me I love Port Orleans French Quarter. It is quiet, peaceful and nice. So this time we will stay a POFQ. :yay:

We did throw the idea around Animal Kingdom, Beach Club, Wilderness. But I just said no, we will keep it simple and stick with POFQ.

My sister who doesn't help says lets stay at Animal Kingdom I want to wake up and see an animal outside my window. I did have to step on her dreams, by saying do you have the money for Animal Kingdom.
which we did not.

So on we went about book our 09 trip in november of 08. Mom and I go to the travel agent. We had to keep this trip a suprise until christmas day.
When we booked the trip for this june we got the 4/3 deal :woohoo: .
Later we found out that we could have done the AKL. But we are staying put at POFQ since it is my favorite.

May be next trip we will stay some where.
So We will have 2 rooms at POFQ and Its going to be a lot of Fun I hope.

Hey!!!! Everything sounds great!! You guys are goin to have a awesome time!!!

Hey! Ressie plans look great! I love CP, but I have only been there for breakfast. Sci-Fi is super fun too, and they have good burgers, IMHO!

POFQ is your fav? My Dec trip is booked for POFQ and neither Kelly or I have ever stayed there, and we are very excited about it! What is your favorite part about it?

Oh, and there is a thread on the Disney Restaurant boards that is all about cakes, what your options are and how to order them. You should check it out, you can get some really great info from it. :cutie:

I was thinking about the breakfast at CP but It seams that the dinner is going to only work for now! Now For Sci-Fi my mother picked that so she did have 1 input. Last time we ate at 50s but no one else liked it. but me so I had to go for something else.

POFQ is my fav. I think it is just so nice and quiet and i like when resorts have a quietness to them, but not to quiet.

I had been looking at that thread I hope i can find it when it comes closer to ordering time I will have to save the thread. Thanks for the reminder

Hiya! What a wonderful surprise for your sister and her future family. I would get it at the beginning so you can eat it all week while you are there. I am also having the same issues with park hours, EMH, and ADRs, I am totally obsessed and I have always been able to do everything way in advance. I am going through planning withdrawl symptoms at the moment and freaking out :scared1:

Can't wait to hear more! :cool1:

We stayed at POR in 2006 and loved it! It was like staying at summer camp, so beautiful and peaceful. My DH always throws out let's stay at Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club, or the Polynesian. In reality, we can only afford moderate resort and then we have spending money. If we stay at deluxe, less buying power! Can't have that! :thumbsup2

Day 1: Crystal Palace
We have never eatten here before but looking forward to it. I hope we do get in. I will have to be for dinner only. We have never been for dinner but have always enjoyed breakfast, it is really cool because you get let into the park early for breakfast and you can take pictures without too many people around.

Day 2: Le cellier or Rose and Crown
Le Cellier I hear is popular (we have never been there)
Rose and Crown (We have been their) and love it
They both will have to be for dinner only
Never been to Rose & Crown but I would love to we have pickey eaters that refuse to eat there. But we have been to Le Cellier for dinner and it was really good.
Day 3: Sci-Fi
We have never been here but looking forward to another new place.
Lunch only - we went to dinner here in 2006, the atmosphere we great and it was really cute to see all the old movies on the screen. I was very dark. Darker then Le Cellier when we ate there. The food was good but not great. It is a fun experience.

Day 4: We will split dinner up a part of 2 and a part of 4
I am working with the sister and soon to be brother in law to have dinner by themselves
Either Spoodles or Coral Reef (No one has been)
Never been to Spoodles Or Coral Reef, pickey eater issue

Mom, Dad, Niece and I Chef Mickey (we have not been, but had ressies last time but we could not make it and went some where else)
We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast and dinner. At dinner they have these little dessert. Here is a pic:
IMG_2481.jpg

They are oreo cookies covered with chocolate ganche (sp?) they are cute and my kids and DH loved them.

Day 5: Cape May Cafe
We have not been but hope it good (Dinner only)
We had dinner at Cape May Cafe and it was one of the best dinner we had, it was good and there was a variety of foods. They give the kids crayons and you can draw on the paper table cloth. :thumbsup2

Day 6: Is Open not sure yet have a few ideas
1900 park fare, ohana or just keep it open and find something when we are down there. We had dinner at 1900 park fare, it was not good for my pickey eaters - we have heard many good things about Ohana for dinner and we are planning to eat there this June 2009 Trip.

Day 7: last day and CRT
3 of us have been here mom, dad, and me.
We would like to take the rest here.
(lunch only) - We have never been to CRT for Lunch or Dinner but we went for Breakfast. I was good and entertaining. We enjoyed it. You will have to let me know how lunch or dinner went, if you decide to eat here, for sure. :cool2:

So what do you all think?
I think you have a great plan, you do not need them for planning! :thumbsup2 You are doing a great Job :goodvibes

See my message above
