Hi there!
Well, I guess I should start by introducing myself: I'm Carol (28), a tutor, Brazilian, married to a lovely DH (30), who is by now used to my Disney craze (or so I like to think), and the "mother" of three very, very cute cats.
I've been reading the forum for a while - I specially enjoy the trip reports - not only because you're great storytellers, but also because I feel I'm a bit there again.
I thought it was time to start off my very own pre-trip report once 1) I think narrating memories is a nice way to keep them, and 2) I have many doubts, so maybe you could kindly answer them or offer me suggestions.
Well, there are two upcoming trips, the first will be with my family during the Brazilian carnival (Feb, 14th - Feb, 22nd), but I'm actually organizing this second one:
When is the trip: Oct/Nov 2015 (we haven't bought tickets yet)
Who is going on the trip:
- my husband, who went there for the first time with me in Nov,2013 and wasn't so impressed by WDW and loved Universal (I know, I know...
)
- two other couples and two guys - all of those first timers
- and I, the only Disney aficionada of the trip.
So there are 9 of us and, important: most of them are geeky engineers , I'm sure they will love Kennedy Space Center, I hope they love Disney as well.
For how long? 2 weeks
My first few questions are (I'm positive many more will come along):
Is there any special activity we could do in the parks as a group this small? (We're staying offsite
)
Is the backlot tour worth its price?
My husband loves arcade games, could we visit the hotels to play, even if we aren't staying there, or simply to get to know the resort better?
And finally: is there a tutorial on how to post pictures in these posts?
