Grrr! We had tornadoes go through here this morning, more to the north of me, and now a line of storms is heading our way, producing more tornadoes! It is nice and sunny now, that is not a good thing. Please think good thoughts for al us KC area Dis people!

We had some whopper thunderstorms during the night. Our beagle thought it was intruders and he barked and barked. He finally quieted down when we brought him into our room and let him sleep with us. Well.... he slept on the floor on a blanket beside the bed.

The 1st storm is going through the north part of KC, but the 2nd storm is heading our way. DH is pulling the loose stuff in from the deck.

Oh how scary! Stay safe! I'll have to call my friend in Everton ~ don't know how far that is from you but I think the next closest city to her is Springfield. She just moved there from CA ~ if it's anywhere close to you, then I'm sure she's half out of her mind with fright!

We were at Independence Center today. AAAAACCCCKKKKK!

All I can say is I cannot wait to return to Florida tomorrow. I'm used to much more notice than my mom coming in from outside saying the warning sirens were blaring.

Too much excitement for me.

Though the girls did get to see their first hailstorm.

I do not envy the midwest!

Well me have made it so far, it was tense earlier, we got quarter sized hail. DS freaked out.

We pulled a 40 ft racing trailer threw the area and every time we stopped, people would tell us about the hail and strong down winds they had. They kept telling us how lucky we were that we missed it. I was so envious of the beautiful, sunny weather. We are getting 15-20 inches of snow tonite. But I guess I don't have to hide in a shelter, just have to snuggle in my bed.
