Hi, I have setup our registry on disneyhoneymoonregistry.com and got the gift card and everything setup, but we don't want dinners and stuff from our friends and family, we just want them to be able to put money towards our cruise and resort stay. Is this possible? I don't see any option for allowing them to just choose a value that they want to add to our gift card?? Can anyone explain this to me? Thanks!

It's a way of asking for money, without asking for money :lmao:

Your guests aren't actually buying you the item that you've added to the registry, all they are doing is putting money onto the card, so you can spend it however you want.

Most of my guests would prefer to think that they're paying for us to have a nice meal, or a massage etc. other then they're just giving us money. So we've added a bunch of things to the registry, all at different price points for each guest to "buy" for us, however they're just giving us the money.

If all you really want to do is ask for money on the card, add a whole heap of "Fantasy Funds" to the card, this is just money. :thumbsup2

You should be able to put money towards the hotel reservation number you used to create your account. There are also options listed that are recommended for cruises. But like Becbennet said, you're just getting the gift card with the total amount on it. They can't tell you were to use the gift card once the money is on it, it works like any other disney gift card. HTH
