Please tell me what I'm not getting. I went on the Disney website for ticket prices. On the main ticket page it says that the MYW daily price for an adult is $90.53, but when I click on the "buy now" button it shows a price of $85? Also a price diff on the kids price.

Also, is there a Senior citizen price?

Is getting the tickets through Disney the best way? We are only doing 4 days, MYW, one park per day, plus we plan to use our Disney reward dollars toward the tickets.

TIA

Not sure about the senior discount, however the price difference is probably tax. Once you go to check out I am sure the price would go back up with tax included.

Ages 0-3 is free
Ages 3-9 is a child
Ages 9 and above is an adult.

You're probably seeing the difference between the ticket price and the price with tax. Tax is 6% in Florida, some areas like Osceola county (Animal Kingdom, All Star Resort, Wide World of Sports Complex) have a .5% increase. Tax is about $5 on $85.

Buying tickets through Disney, there is no discount. If you would like to earn some more rewards, and use the reward points towards other parts of your vacation, you can purchase the tickets through Undercovertourist, with an additional savings using the link through the mousesaver email.

Disney tickets are taxed at 6.5%, no matter where you buy them (Disney's website, your local Disney store, a reseller like Undercover Tourist). Tickets will be slightly cheaper through Undercover Tourist (their online prices include tax and shipping), but you can't use your rewards dollars. If you can use your rewards dollars another way (resort if you are staying onsite, restaurants, souveniers), then it is cheaper to buy through Undercover Tourist.

Disney does not offer a senior discount.

Question - if I get my tickets through undercover tourist (what is the price difference if you go through mouse savers)....can I upgrade them another day or so if we decide on that? Before we have done that with passes that we purchase at the hotel...just curious!!:thumbsup2

You might want to look at the Everything About WDW Tickets locked sticky in the TPA&S Forum. Especially the items bolded in the list below.

Just a technicality. Ages 0-2 are free, ages 3-9 are children, and ages 10+ are adults.

Yup. The tickets you buy from Undercover Tourist or any authorized reseller can be upgraded just like a ticket you would buy directly from Disney.

Yes, you can upgrade your tickets. Just be sure to use them first if you have purchased through a discounter, so you get "credit" for the gate price when you upgrade instead of the discounted price. If the tickets are unused, Disney will charge you the difference between the discounted price and the gate price.

Also, you must upgrade while you still have days on the ticket. You used to be able to upgrade anytime within 14 days of first use. Disney is now requiring that you add days no later than the last valid day of the ticket (i.e. if you have a five day ticket and want a sixth day, you have to add it on the fifth day instead of the morning of the sixth). This applies to tickets sold directly through Disney as well as tickets sold through discounters (but according to Cheshire Figment's ticket sticky, it doesn't apply to tickets on KTTW cards, like if you purchased tickets as part of a package).
