I have been working in my yard, raking, picking stones and mowing the grass since 10:30 this morning and I jus stopped at 3 pm. In short , I'm pooped!!! I think I can pass on my crunches today , instead I pulled like a gazillion stones!!

I think you're RIGHT!! GO sit down and have a nice relaxing evening!

I thought I was the only person who "grew" stones in my yard! That was back in Michigan. Here in lovely Indiana, even the rocks can't live in the ground! AH! What I would give to have rocky soil again! While planting my roses the other day, I encountered about 4 inches of the most unholy limestone layer (I guess that's why some huge % of limestone comes from Indiana) I''ve ever seen! I didn't "exercise" that day either! :p I've seen in several different places that general gardening burns between 3 and 5 hundred calories/hour. Yea, I think you can take it easy!

Keep the Faith!

OHh yeah??? This is one of the freaking stones I pulled this morning.....it took me one hour to get this one out!!
The only part on the top that you see dry , was what was sticking out of the ground, the rest of it was underground!!

I live in Stoneville!!

Good job, Kanga!! :) I would say after digging up that stone you would be set for the week!! ;):)

Kanga, I know I should not make light of all the hard work you did today, but your picture of that rock has me LOL! Oh you poor thing, I think you might have some sore muscles tomorrow. I bet you burned more calories today than all of us together who have posted replies tp your thread!

That is a super way to work out! Kill two birds with one stone, eh? :) I bet your yard looks great! Hope your body is feeling limber and happy this morning. Do some stretches when you get a chance. I know a day in the yard usually sneaks up on me later (especially in the ham strings). :) Good for you!!!!!

Well, today is the next day and I can tell you one thing.....I'm feeling muscles I forgot I had! But it feels good to feel them, now I can continue working on them.
