There are only 5 days between me and a week long vacation at HHI! DH and I are in a 2 bedroom villa Sunday to Wed with friends joining us Wed nite until our departure Sat morning for the drive back to Jersey.

I am soooooo stressed at work that I am really more than ready to get outta town! Checked the weather and temps are projected to be in the low 70's with sunshine - what could be better!

Only two years to retirement! My goal is to survive that long - and I've got my DVC to help me through!

We were there for a long weekend earlier in October, and it was wonderful! Things are a little quiet over at the beach house, even with the nice beachy weather, but quiet can be a good thing. The snack bar is open during the lunch period, but closes pretty early. I think around 4...beach house stayed open a couple more hours. If you plan to be there late afternoon you may want to bring a few things to eat/drink over with you. I don't bring coolers, but do have an insulated bag I sometimes carry!

Know what you mean I need my DVC fix every three or four months, can be WDW, HHI or VB as long as it's DVC. Going in Jan for DD's Princess Wedding, future SIL and his family are from UK and have never been to Disney. Can you imagine, people that have never been to WDW I heard they were out there but never actually saw any!

We love Hilton Head-have stayed there the last two summers. And I live in Georgia-right now it's 4:30 in the afternoon, and I'm walking around barefoot and in shorts. Enjoy!

Thanx, all, for the thoughts, info and good wishes! Sunday - boat parade in Bluffton and Sticky Fingers for supper or take out wings for Sunday nite football - wonder if there is time to catch the Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival! First stop Monday - Signe's for key lime pound cake! Maybe I could call and have one dropped off at the resort for my arrival!

on I want to retire badly. can't until 2012 or as late as 2017 - depends on how well I feel and the economy. certainly don't want to retire then have to go back to work.

DVC is great at helping you through the bad times at work and in life - WDW is great for that!
