Hi,

We are travelling in August, staying @ disney. We have been to Universal 4 yrs ago but never IOA? I have a back condition and cannot go on thrill rides as such, plus im a wimp. Is it worth visiting IOA ? is there anything other than roller coasters etc there ? also has universal changed much? :cool1:

thanks

Is IOA any good? Yes. It's the best theme park in the world. And yes, it has a lot more to offer than roller coasters, which there are only three of anyway. However, the majority of the other rides there consist of other types of thrill rides. Whether or not it's worth going depends how much your condition impedes you from going on semi-violent attractions other than coasters. If you have no problem with water rides that have large drops or dark rides, then you should definitely go. Even if you can't do many of the rides there, you can still take in the park's extensive theming and shows.

Universal Studios has 3 new attractions since your last visit. Revenge of the Mummy (which replaced Kongfrontation and is a roller coaster/dark ride), Shrek 4-D (which replaced Hitchcock), and Jimmy Nuetron (which replaced Hanna Barbera).

both parks do have a lot of other rides to do besides coasters, more universal than the Islands. Universal has changed a lot since then and i think that it is better now, except that i liked Hannah-Barbera better than Neutron. other than that, i HIGHLY recommend going.

The music playing in the park is what gets me.

Every land you walk thru is like a movie.
