I don't know why, but I just can't seem to book with Dreams Unlimited...

I've made quotes, e-mailed with Barb and have gotten great info from them. However I have not booked with a travel agent for Disney since 1999. I just can't seem to get over the "hump" of giving my money to someone other than Disney directly. :confused3 Can you convince me what to do? I know they have a great reputation, but has anyone had simular anxiety and then booked with them and been sooooo pleased or even displeased?!?! :bitelip:

Hey,
I loved booking my trip with Dreams Unlimited. Barb helped me with my trip for awhile when my TA was away for a bit. I have paid my trip off now and they make you an itinerary of your plans (with PS reservation #'s on it). The biggest advantage is that they make your dining reservations for you!!!! I have not had to book any of my restaurants for the free dining deal. We're eating at Le Cellier, Rose and Crown, 50's Primetime, Cinderella's Royal Throne, Boatwrights, Wolfgang Puck's, and O'hanas. They also make your backstage tour reservations and you can e-mail your TA anytime for questions. I will definately go through them again!!!! :sunny:

When we gave our cc info to DU the actual charge went through as Disney Cruise Lines ( for our cruise). DU never actually took the money. I have to admit that it is very reassuring to know that the money went directly to pay off the trip.

I booked and paid thru DU on a friend's advise, and beside the perks of not having to worry to make your own PS ( we have some great restaurants on the free dinning), we have our own itinerarymade out just for us - Ann our TA has been more than helpfull. And my CC charge came with the Disnay Co. I will definitively use them again!!!

Okay so what agent did you use, and would you recommend them again? I have seen posts about Sue Ellen being great. I was dealing with Barb and she seemed pretty friendly too. Any help please!!!

Just to make you feel better, your payments are directly to Disney and one convenience is you can make periodic payments online through the DU site.

I am working with Carole Annette. I booked in March or so for June 2006 so I still have a long way to go but she periodically sends her clients updates about Disney with really interesting information and always lets me know when she will be gone. I have gotten trip reports about her Disney trips and nice recommendations about activities.

Your payments always show up as Disney reservations, never DU. FYI, Dreams gets no money from you at all, their commissions are paid by Disney. I first used them right around the first of this year and have booked a total of 5 trips through them with Sue Ellen so far. IT is wonderful, they take all of the calling stress off of you. You cannot modify your reservation through Disney yourself, but you are still free to make your own PS' and modify them. SUe Ellen always laughs because I always seem to wind up booking at least half of my dinners myself then just emailing her. I have even booked my own trip and then turned it over to her so she received the commission, that's how much I love these people. Of the 5 trips two are still upcoming and I feel assured that all will go smoothly.
