i don't know what to do

a girl in my class is emo
i used to be her friend but now she hates my guts so we aren't friends
but when i found she was emo it broke my heart
she cut her self on her leg with a razor and its a cross and then she put scribles on it
she cuts herself continually and keeps safety pins in her skin
i really need some advice on how to handle this

First of all, someone being an "emo" doesn't mean they're depressed or cut themselves.
It's also the label of a type of music and a style of clothing.

But if you're positive this girl self-mutilates, you need to talk to her.
Regardless of whether or not your friends.

I've seen kids that cut, and it only leads to worse things.
If she refuses to listen to you, you NEED to tell an adult.
Past that, you've done all you can.

I have a girl in my grade like that, she cuts her self all the time. Her family is poor and it makes me sad. :'( He cut her vein once ( well thats what ive been told, not sure if its true ) because a boy didnt like her.

I know a kid who cuts himself.
The only thing he'll stop cutting for is a girlfriend, which, you know he doesn't because his relationships only last like a week because he's kind of obsessive and freaky.
He's been told enough times to stop, I'm not sure if any teachers or anyone have called his parents about it. His friends laugh at the fact that he's emo, other kids are afraid of it, his parents can't even tell that he cuts even though there's scars up and down his arms. If you ask him what gave him them, he'll say it was his cat. If you know him well, you know the cat is declawed. And then he just talks openly about it. He has a good knife that he leaves on his dresser, and a bad knife that he has on him all the time.
He claims that he wants to be happy, but if he gets happy, his friends won't like him anymore.
That just makes me go WTH. They're not your friends.
Anyways, he's a compulsive liar, and many other things, I don't talk to him anymore.

as stated above reguardless if your friends or not you should be a good individual and speeak to her and get her help. As a past cutter it means alot that people care that much about you and want you to recieve help. I hope you do the right thing and lend her a helping hand

thats really sad. all you can do is talk to her, and make sure you listen carefully and show sympathy if she opens up. if she doesnt, and maybe even if she does, telling an adult is never a bad thing. also, remember that this isnt your responsibility; while it is important that you do the right thing, dont let it bring you down in the process.

Its really sad and all there are alot of people from my church who are emo and i find it real sad but they are real nice if you get to know them

I dont know anyone that cuts themselves. I cant imagine hurting myself.

I used to be a cutter. I stoped. When my old friend found out, she used that as black mail to me. She made me feel so much worse about things then I already did. She used to tell me that if I don't do this she will tell my parents. One night I just finally broke down and told my parents everything. I haven't talked to this girl since.

If this girl is still doing that, talk to her about it. Don't threaten to tell her parents or anything. She will come to her sences and realize what she is doing is really bad.
