We were thinking of staying at one of the All star resorts and was wondering if they would allow us to bring in a portable electric burner. You know the kind you can bring with you camping?? Also would I be cleared at the airport with this??? I have heard you can also mail things to your hotel like boxed cereal, juice boxes, etc.. is this true?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

That is NOT allowed and would be a fire hazzard for all the guests staying there.
You can have things delivered but it is not cheap, you are better off to stop at a nearby supermarket on your way there.

Bad move, couldn't imagine what you would need an wlwctric burner for, food court isn't that bad food wise and sharing meals is a big option, meals are huge, wife and I share all the time.

No cooking devices allowed. You could bring a coffee maker but I feel it's easier buying the free refill cup.

You can have things shipped to your hotel but we pack food in checked luggage, we've been doing it for 5 years. cereal, juice boxes, snacks, plastic bowls and spoons. We even have a tote bag just for a case of bottled water.

We bring a softside cooler, ice is free so you can keep anything cold. We buy a half gallon of milk and it keeps for days.

You can bring powdered drink mix and make it in your room. We did it once and that's too much trouble for me.

My two boys are not big eaters and they always share.

The sit down restaurants will even split one meal on two plates for you.

I shipped down a box of food - cereal, fruit chews, granola bars, etc. I just addressed care of myself with the hotels address and my arrival date and confirmation number on the label. I sent it about 5 days before we left and it was waiting for us when we got there.

We didn't have a car while we were there and this saved us from having to rent a taxi to get to the store.

Thank you very much for all you help! We also have a visa disney card that will run out in Dec. 08 and was wondering if we can use it at all the disney hotel resteraunts also? can you get milk at the food court? Is that included in the free mug refills if we purchase them??

Refillable Mugs: Coffee, sodas, ice tea, and hot chocolate only. Juice and milk are not included. However, you can purchase milk and juice at the Food Courts.

Disney Visa points/dollars can be used at Disney World and you get 10% off at World of Disney store in Downtown Disney if you use the visa card.

Half gallons of milk are available, you can also get beer, wine and 2 liter bottles of soda. There is also hard liquor and cigarettes in the store.
