It looks like it might be snowing for the rest of the day too!

Looking forward to seeing pictures of the golf cart parade, and in the meantime I'm adding ideas to my resort hopping plans - even if we most likely won't be back to WDW until 2014. So glad that we get to go on several virtual trips every year thanks to other people's trip reports!

This signage is blue now.

I was so upset when I saw that they changed the color to blue. I loved the way the pink/purple looked before! It still looks nice though.

I love the road signs in WDW. It's one of the first things I miss once we leave
WDW grounds.

FW is so fun. And I love the boat ride from the MK. I love it at night with everything all lit up.

I love that boat ride, too. Pulling away from Magic Kingdom with those trees swaying in the breeze - it's so pretty!

I am glad to see you are getting some sub work. That's not an easy job. What grades/subjects are you enjoying the most?

It is so nice to leave school on Fridays and know you don't have to spend the evening preparing things for the next day!

In DIStown, we need to be sure our street signs are 'magical'.

Yeah, it was hotter up north than in the south at that time. I think it was just 'normally' hot down there - nothing extreme.

yay for you getting a snow day! Maybe you can show us a picture of your snow. You saw Jill's snow, didn't you?

Trip reports, pictures from people who are there, podcasts, and music all help me keep a bit of Disney in every day until it's time to take off again!

I think It says Canon IS XS120, or something like that. I don't have it with me right now. I am glad you like the pictures. I sure like looking back at them.

It does look different now. Don't you wonder who decides to change things like that? I am glad I have many pink pictures of it, and I will get many blue pictures, as well. And then when they change it to green or orange or whatever, well...I'll get pictures of it like that, too.

Yeah a new "resort" to scope out. I am trying to talk my DH into pulling our RV down to WDW one year but it would take us 2 days and I haven't gotten up the nerve to haul it so DH would have to do all the driving. Ah someday when I can take 3 weeks off of work and we can take our old sweet time.

Glad to show you something new. If you happen to like horses, it's worth a trip over there to see the horse barn.

Some of those people stay down there a long time. You could tell at the parade that so many of them were well known by the cast members who came to watch and cheer.

Several of them had animals. They were so cute.

And that was it. It was very fun to watch.
Some people threw candy from their carts.
Lots of people cheered, and it was just an enjoyable thing to see for the first time.

Ft Wilderness certainly knows how to celebrate the holidays. We have done the sleigh ride at Christmas the the lights are fabulous!

Prayers for all those suffering right now. I've been obsessing over all the news from Mali, where I was a Peace Corps Volunteer. Most of my friends and their relatives there seem to be safe for now, altho I haven't heard from Timbuktu .... More than ever, I need & enjoy my Disney breaks. Thanks for the sunshine!
Such a production that cart parade is! What a hoot that so many people participated -- and they really did up the theming, too. I love holiday festivities at FW.

I loved the picture of Bella in her eyepatch! My brother had to be patched when he was younger, maybe starting around Bella's age? We have pictures of him wearing it. He has needed glasses since he was two (he's 25 now) and that one eye is still kind of off-center, but really only because he was crazy "busy" when he was little and just could never be bothered to stay still, let alone keep his glasses or the patch on. Doesn't impair him or anything, just something you notice when you're looking at him straight on. I'm glad to say he has calmed down. My dad, on the other hand...

That cart parade is SO cute! I'm such a dog lover, I loved that people included them. The bird took me by surprise, though; my birds are so insane that I cannot picture them participating so nicely!

What a cute parade!! I showed DH the one with the St. Bernard. He grew up with 2 of them!!

That's great that they get into the holiday spirit. The CM's really seemed to be enjoying it also!

So was this parade only run on July 4? (I've lost track of the dates on your trip!) What a fun thing to do!! There's a special group out there at the campground - they go all out to celebrate holidays! I had wanted to see it at Christmas time when we went in December 09, but it just didn't fit in. Next time for sure!!
