I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

I love the towels at Disney! It's a shame I have not made the decision to snag one at one time or another. :/ Cannot stand that darn crane! So happy it is mostly gone as most of New Fantasyland is finished. Love the pictures of all the DISkids, they are friends already! :)

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Oh! Another update! Must comment on that!

THE TIKI ROOM!! Probably the number one reason I need to get back to Disney since I have yet to experience the original Enchanted Tiki Room. Looks like tons of fun! :thumbsup2 to the Magic Carpets, I guess you were taking over the attraction then lol The kids are just so precious observing the SotMK, hopefully it is still there when I am back :good vibes

Once again, I'll be eagerly awaiting another update! :mickeyjum

How fun to get together with other DIS kids! I know my girls enjoyed meeting Cayley and Avery in October!

Now I'm humming in my head - in the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room... Is it stuck in anyone else's head now? You're welcome! ;)

I've got to do some cleaning out this weekend too. I have a big bag of clothes to donate and there's more "stuff" to clean out. I think in spring I'm going to have one huge sale - the kids are outgrowing a lot of toys now. They sit under storage and never get played with. Although after opening gifts (From us and santa) this year, Paige said, "I didn't really get any toys". :rolleyes2 She had a few junky toys on her list from TV commercials, but she got one or two toy-like things and her big Santa present. I told her to be grateful and get over it! Oy.

We have never eaten at pinocchio, when in that area it's Columbia harbor house- or now be our guest. I think Brooklyn was tired from carousel of progress :). Oh, a glimpse of my favorite...astro orbiter.

I will be glad when the seven dwarves ride is done...it's a real pain right smack in the middle...

Oh how fun seeing all the DIS kids together. It makes me wish I'd have found the DIS back when ours were that little. It will be interesting to see how they do with any meets next NYE since they are going to be in the fun tween/teen ages. Oh Snap! I just realized they will all be teens by then. Aack!

I think I am in the minority, I think I liked it better under new management. Go figure.

I love seeing the DIS Town kids get together. So cute! :lovestruc

Since DIS Town is always "in the know" figure this is the best place to ask this... are there any sites that will be streaming New Year's Eve fireworks from WDW? Planning a low key evening and would love to incorporate a dose of Disney magic. :wizard:

Ooh I am totally copying this idea if anyone knows.

Thanks for sharing that! I love those people! So well done:artist: I had no idea people put that much time and effort into videos like that, oh oh, now I have another place to feed my Disney addiction.....:yay:

Those videos are some of the best, but there are many, many Disney youtube videos that are worth watching. I like to watch the ones that show families being surprised by trips first, then follow a few of those up with some that are done of actual trips. Just search for Disney trips, and you will have as much entertainment as you can handle!

I'm sure or I'll just ask him right now ;)

Apparently! Maybe he sympathizes with this being a tough year for me... ?

And yeah, that was the plan especially considering I have watched most of them lol Going to watch a few today though :thumbsup2

I have had the Hallmark Channel playing in the background for a good deal of time during December. I am no one to turn the TV on much at all throughout the year, but during Christmastime, I like to see the holiday movies, or at least the bits and pieces of them that I do. :)

That was a fun, fun night! It had slipped my mind. I think the kids really had a great time meeting each other and enjoyed playing this trip. I hope we have a chance to make this happen again!

It was a fun night. My one regret for the night - not taking my camera nor my phone on Splash Mountain. :(

Rumor has it there might be some DIS kids at your 'birthday bash' in Nashville. :jumping1:

Enjoying the pics. Well, we made it out of the 5 inches of snow and are now in rainy new jersey...

I know you are ready to be safe and warm and dry and finished with these travels!

Beach towels make very good souvenirs for yourself and others. We have probably a dozen here at the house.

I am not in either camp on the Tiki Room - I like both versions.

I love that group picture you guys had. It is certainly a special one!

One of the simple things that Brooklynn got was a weaving loom set. I hope to get a potholder from her fun. :thumbsup2

The menu at Pinocchio's has changed a lot over the past few years. We might check out Be Our Guest for lunch in March.

We are looking forward to the end of 2013! :dance3: Lots to do between then and now, though. :)

Dave and Kathy are staying at Bay Lake, I believe, and not Poly. I don't know if they will be streaming, but I will let you know if I find out.

Ooh I am totally copying this idea if anyone knows.

It's always been fun to watch the streaming from home. Check ustream and search for Disney World. There may be others filming, even if Dave and Kathy aren't.

Love the Tommorowland merchandise! That Stitch shirt is too cute!

I know that the Tiki room doesn't always get a lot of love on the boards, but I think it's fun! :goodvibes

I like the Tiki Room show, too.
And I see it when I am on trips without the girls - not ashamed to say.

Stitch has some cute merchandise. I keep hoping someday they will do him a little more honor with his attraction.

As a group, we were waiting for Jennifer and her boys to arrive. The plan was to ride something together, and it was decided that that something would be Splash Mountain.

And...here they are!

IMG_2058.jpg

The plan was to first fill a Jungle Cruise boat. Then we would talk about a second ride.

Being the big guy, Baylor had plenty of adoration from his little fans that night.

After Jungle Cruise, we made our way to Splash Mountain. Not everyone was going to ride. Here is where I made a big mistake. I left both my phone and camera with Anita, who was going to sit out. I was just going to concentrate, for a rare time, on riding the ride and enjoying Brooklynn and the company of those on the log with me.

As many of you know, this was the night that we got stuck on said Mountain and were walked off of it. I could have gotten some very good pictures as we were dead still in front of Brer Rabbit's abode, but no such luck. :headache: It was a fun and funny time, even though it did get kind of long. The passengers with me on that fateful voyage were Jennifer, Marc, Brooklynn, Jennifer's two boys, and I think only one of Mary's girls. Those who were there, feel free to correct me....and share your pictures.

 The castle is on fire!!!!!! ;)

A Nice night.... This was the July 1st right? I think you texted me but I was over in EPCOT and could not make the hop over quickly... :sad1:

I am sorry you got stuck and evacuated from Splash.

Hopefully NYE13

And here is the entire gang all in one place.

From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!!!

Beautiful photo! It's just missing one important person; MeMom. :goodvibes I hope your Christmas was blessed and amazing.

Going back to get all caught up on your TR right now. ::yes::

That's awesome how you were basically able to fill a Jungle Cruise boat! I definitely need to make sure I go on that ride for next time. And that stinks how you didn't have your camera when you were walked off Splash. But I am sure it was one interesting experience otherwise.

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Trying once again to get caught up.

I enjoyed your Christmas weekend pictures both in Tn and Al. We had a great Christmas too. I had all 3 of my kids together for the first time in 4 years.

Loved the pictures of all the Disers and kids. I hope we get to meet some the next time we go. Don't know when that will be. Danielle is going with the Disney club in Feb again over the Mardi Gras holiday but we won't be crashing her trip this time.

I remember it being posted about Brooklynn doing the pledge while y'all were there. What a great Magical Moment. I hope she always remembers it.

How exciting that Brooklynn got to recite the pledge! That must have been such a special moment. :goodvibes

It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas with your family! I bet it was a great first one for Sophie. :santa:

Oh goodness, stuck on Splash... I'm so glad that ride is getting the refurb it deserves! I hope it fixes the 'stuck' problems!

It does look like the castle is on fire. I caught it after all the sparks and in the midst of the smoke dying out. It kind of bothers me to see it like that, since we know that Disney World could be a prime target for anyone wanting to bomb something. :(

I didn't mind getting stuck on Splash Mountain, and walking off was a cool experience, but I am just sick that I didn't have my camera.

NYE 2013 - let's have a big crowd!!! :jumping1:

Hope you enjoyed getting caught up. The picture list is on page one, if that helps.

I was fine just being the photographer for that picture. :thumbsup2

It was interesting. They kept trying to get us going, but finally, the lights came on, and they told us that castmembers would be coming to assist us off the ride.

We hope to fill a Jungle Cruise boat again next December, as I think a DIS crowd is already planning to gather down there then. :dance3:

I saw your pictures on FB. Where does your son live? I am so glad you got to have that treasured family time! Brooklynn and Bella are with me in TN right now. They'll be here a couple of days so Jill can get some work done at home. It's a win-win deal. ::yes::

You could always join in next Christmas to New Year 2013-2014. :rolleyes1

I hope all the pictures help the girls recall lots of fun times in Disney World. :)

I am glad Brooklynn was not having one of her shy moments and she didn't say no when he asked her about doing it.

We already talked about how fascinated Sophie will be with the tree next year, as she toddles by it. This year, she watched all things Christmas from the safety of people's laps. :goodvibes

Spaceship Earth is the ride that tends to get stuck with us the most. I guess with as many rotations as those rides go through per day, it's good that they hold up as well as they do.

Loved the updates. That looked like a great dismeet. Merry belated Christmas. I loved seeing your Christmas morning pics. What American Girls did they get? I saw the boxes. Abby got Marie Grace and has been playing non stop with her. And Ellie got the Bitty twins. She's my little mommy.

After we were rescued from Splash Mountain, we began making our way out of the park.

We decided to watch Main Street Electrical Parade before we called it a night.
