I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

LittleMermaidChristmas2012030.jpg

From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!!!

I was just looking at this picture, Sophie sure is checking out Brook's animal friend, and, is that Ben in between Drew and John? I spy a mound of hair.....

I think there needs to be some sort of "sneaky Santa" game played before the wedding then we can give all of the gifts to the bride and groom. That looks like a lot of fun!!!
Of course, I want to be there for that game...:goodvibes

Merry Christmas my DIS friends. I hope everybody has a magical day with family and friends.

I was just thinking of you guys a few days ago! Hope all is well with you and yours!

:thumbsup2
Merry Christmas! :santa: It'll be lively here when Kazin and Caleb show up later this afternoon! Two almost 4 year old boys on Christmas should be exciting. I think I need to drink some more coffee before they get here :rotfl:

It started snowing last night around 11:00 :) Just enough to be pretty without making the roads messy. There was a very thin layer of snow when we went to bed. At some point it rained and washed most of it away, but it's not raining now.

Little boys and lots of toys - I bet it was crazy fun!

Stay safe in the snow. We're just getting some rain here, but not too far north, it is snowing.

Fun holiday nails in honor of my fellow DISers! :thumbsup2

Merry Christmas to all!!

Very creative. ::yes::

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

:wave2: Oh so very far behind!! But it's amazing how after cleaning up from Christmas dinner (or lunch in our case), I always think of my DIS friends & my next Disney trip. I haven't had much DIS time in weeks so I thought I'd start here to catch up on all the news. First, congratulations to Trent & Brandi... and your whole family! Such exciting news. Then lots of sad, sad news. :sad2: I'm so sorry for everyone's losses & struggles. Let's hope 2013 brings a good year for everyone. :goodvibes

113 days to go until our longest Disney trip yet! 11 nights during the Flower & Garden Festival!! :cool1:

Hey, Amy! Hope you and your guys had a wonderful Christmas!

2012 had many sad moments. I hope 2013 brings much happiness to all who suffered so much this past year.

Merry Christmas Memom and family!!

And to you, Elena!

Wow Jill looks real serious on Buzz. LOL
I know that section of POP very well.
I love sitting outside while down there. The sky there makes me so happy.
Oh I see what you mean when Bella says she builds blocks up high. That stack is almost as tall as her.
That is really nice that you got to spend time with Brooklynn alone there.
The Chinese Coke is so good.
I cannot remember the last time I saw the Norway movie.
Looked like a fun under the sea party.
Great pic at the end.
How special she was to do the pledge of allegiance.
I have never seen the ceremony done, next time I will.
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.

Jill takes her scores seriously on Buzz, but you should really see her on Toy Story Midway Mania!

When my friend and I go to WDW in March, I hope we get to see all of the World Showcase movies. That's something that is easier to do when there aren't little ones around who are ready to move on to the next thing. I think she will enjoy seeing the world through those movies, too.

I do hope you can see the flag retreat ceremony sometime. It is very cool.

We did have a nice Christmas. Next Christmas, we'll have a small Santa time and then head off to Disney World! :santa:

Happy Boxing Day!

I am bagging, rather than boxing. I have three bags of clothes to take to the church clothing room.

Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas!!! Your Under the Sea theme looks so cute - and I love your Palm tree!!

That's so awesome that Brooklynn got to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. What a special moment!! :goodvibes

The palm tree will stay decorated until all of the holiday is finished - January 2nd.

I hope Brooklynn will look back at the pictures and have some memory of that event.

I was just looking at this picture, Sophie sure is checking out Brook's animal friend, and, is that Ben in between Drew and John? I spy a mound of hair.....

We could play that! Brandi's first pick here was a box of lightbulbs. She ended up with something else, though. I can't recall what.

Yes, Ben had to get in on the action. I would never be able to get my cat down there, though. He's a scaredy-cat when a bunch of people are around. Or when there is a dog. Or anyone under twelve.

Here are a few pictures from our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day fun.

The girls were fresh out of the tub, so their hair is still wet. It looks like Bella got a major haircut, but it's just all flat in the back.

The girls enjoyed all of their toys, books, and games. We had breakfast and watched the Disney Christmas Parade on TV. It was a nice day.

I was surprised to find this in my mailbox on Christmas Eve morning, as I headed out to Alabama.

DEC24-252012inAlabama098.jpg

It was sent by DetTigGirl, who had been in WDW just a few weeks earlier. I was totally surprised, and it just made my day to think of how thoughtful she was to send that to me! DIS friends are incredible people! :)

Moving on through Magic Kingdom...

We wanted to eat, and Brooklynn chose Pinocchio's.

IMG_1985.jpg

The BBQ flatbread was okay, but not worth ten bucks.

Brooklynn likes to sit here and wave at Small World passengers.

Brook, does have some sleepy eyes on that people mover. I hope the dancing perked her up!
We are still in this morning, I'm catching up on laundry, Marc is getting his math "homework" caught up. Soon we will walk over to Studios for a Cobb Salad at Brown Derby. Tonight is Be Our Guest!

Merry Christmas and Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year filled with good health and fortune.

I loved seeing the sunshine in the pictures while I am sitting at the kitchen table watching the blizzard we are having right now. I dont mind the weather because it gives me a chance to start planning our 2013 trip to WDW. We are going in Aug. so I am sure we will have a lot of pool time. However the kids are trying to convince me we need to do a Disney Cruise and then a few days at WDW. If DH was going I would think about that but me on a cruise ship with 3 kids that all want to go in different directions does not sound like fun to me. :rotfl:

Merry Christmas, DIS Town! :santa:

If you have a quiet moment in your preparations or perhaps after the celebrations are done, thought you might enjoy another trip video from one of my favorite families. I've never met them but their love of Disney makes them honorary DIS Town citizens, I think. :goodvibes

LOVE those videos! I see they are friends with that wonderful dancing CM too!
Thanks for sharing!

Happy Holidays Distown!! Hope everybody is doing well and are enjoying happy (disney) moments with their family!

Better late than never :flower3:

Merry Christmas MeMom & family and all of Distown :santa:

I love the girls Minnie Mouse pjs.
The Under the Sea theme looked so cute.

No white Christmas over here, just very wet and windy. Christmas day wasn't too bad, but got soaked coming home from Christingle service at church on Christmas Eve. Your lovely sunny MK pictures have brightened up a dull evening.

Glad to hear everyone had a fairly good Christmas! The pictures are awesome MeMom and I love the cookies. We had to give Santa brownies this year due to time constraints. And how wonderful you got a surprise pin in the mail! DISers really are the best people out there :goodvibes

Love your pictures of IASW from Pinocchio's. It is so much fun waving to people going by on the ride from there and that's so cool a guy came over to entertain you guys. I don't think I've seen that before. :thumbsup2 to riding Carousel of Progress! Truly an underrated attraction. That is one ride I miss most. :( Great photos on the PeopleMover! Poor Brooklynn though, she looks quite sleepy.

Can't wait to hear about more! :mickeyjum

You'll have to come back later and tell us what all you get. :thumbsup2

I'll get right to that then! (:

I got from my Secret Santa at school a slinky, some weird game and a nice little tambourine. Then, I got from a Yankee swap a gift card to Godiva. While I was looking for a Yankee swap gift, I ended up acquiring Walk The Line and The Shawshank Redemption (FANTASTIC movies for anyone interested). I also got a book with pictures of my recent trip to Quebec City and lots of candy from one of my best friends (she also got me a comb on a necklace, but we won't go into that). It was really sweet. From two of my other friends, I got a Pinwheel, One Direction trading cards and silly bandz (just... don't ask). From my advisor at school, I got a nice little snowman ornament with my name ornament (love my advisor!). At another Yankee swap that I had at my house I got The Sixth Sense, one of my all-time favorite movies and it ended up being the gift I brought (well one half, I got a Never Say Never (Justin Bieber) and my friend had that movie so we traded :)). Then, the following day one of my friends came over and gave me The Green Mile, another all-time fave (RIP Michael Clarke Duncan), and 1408, which I have yet to see. She also got me Salem's Lot, the remake. She also gave me an awesome card that was themed to Disney with some quotes from another fave movie of mine, Almost Famous. From my parents, I got a sweatshirt (a necessity for me). From my little sister (DYS), I got a $25 Disney Gift Card, which I was about to use for a Santa hat with Mickey Ears, but they sold out sadly :( Then, from my other sister (DOS), DYS and I got a combined gift of a frozen yogurt maker. (I gave them both some nice perfume along with lipstick for DOS and chocolate coins for DYS). From my aunts and Uncles on my mom side I got five more movies: Slumdog Millionaire (LOVE!), Zombieland (SOOOO FUNNY!), Pulp Fiction (True genius), Jackie Brown and Reservoir Dogs. Then, I got a nice cologne and bag with it. From the man in the red suit, I got the full Lord of the Rings series books, The Perks of Being a Wallflower book, Cinderella DVD/Blu-Ray, The King's Speech (another fantastic movie), another sweatshirt, pajama pants and shirt, nice custom headphones, lots of candy in my stocking along with a $10 iTunes gift card (which I've used up already) and the big one...

AN IPHONE! (WITH CASE!)

:hyper:

It was an awesome Christmas, not just because I got quadruple the gifts I usually get, but everything went right and I got to have fun with all my friends and see some family that I haven't seen in awhile. Sadly, I was sick a few days prior passing it on to my dad, my mom and DOS. But we were all able to enjoy the early morning of Christmas day (I was up at 2am before anyone else) and I was able to wear myself out well in the company of some amazing people. Hope everyone else had an equally great Christmas!

Wonderful updates! That is SO neat that Brooklynn got to do the pledge of allegiance, what a wonderful memory. $10 for the flatbread does seem a bit much, but at least it included entertainment so that's something. She does look a bit wiped on the people mover!

It looks like you had a lovely Christmas and a very fun evening Under the Sea.

Merry Christmas, DIS Town! :santa:

Disney trip planning is the perfect way to warm up a cold and gloomy winter. :cool1: I know I am counting the weeks until my March trip! ::yes:: Let us know how your plans come out. We not only enjoy planning our own trips, but we like to nose in on others' trips, too. ;)

Christine, thank you for posting this video! i love these videos!

LOVE those videos! I see they are friends with that wonderful dancing CM too!
Thanks for sharing!

I watched it again this morning. Such a cute family!

Happy Holidays Distown!! Hope everybody is doing well and are enjoying happy (disney) moments with their family!

I think we are all doing well except for Sophie. She's got a cold and is beginning to do the chewing and slobbering that comes with teething.

I started on my annual Christmas break cleaning yesterday. I got everything pulled out of the hall closet, and I threw away a few things. I also washed some clothes and spent some time on the DIS. I usually wait to pull everything out of the laundry room until the spring break, when it is warmer downstairs.

Better late than never :flower3:

Merry Christmas MeMom & family and all of Distown :santa:

No white Christmas over here, just very wet and windy. Christmas day wasn't too bad, but got soaked coming home from Christingle service at church on Christmas Eve. Your lovely sunny MK pictures have brightened up a dull evening.

I still have a few strips of 'water' to pull down from the ceiling, but other than that, the decorated palm tree is all that is left.

We saw some snowflakes yesterday. They stuck on the tops of cars, but that was about it.

Glad to hear everyone had a fairly good Christmas! The pictures are awesome MeMom and I love the cookies. We had to give Santa brownies this year due to time constraints. And how wonderful you got a surprise pin in the mail! DISers really are the best people out there :goodvibes

It looks like you had a lovely Christmas and a very fun evening Under the Sea.

When I go in March, my friend and I will be sharing ten dollar flatbreads. ::yes:: We can get one entree and a couple of salads, and that will fill us up and help with the budget.

Christmas with Ariel and her ocean friends was fun. :fish: Next year, Christmas celebrations will be normal and small, since we are going to Disney World. Since we're thinking about making Christmas an every other year thing, I will have to start thinking about Christmas 2014 pretty soon. :scratchin

After we rode the PeopleMover, we shopped a little.

I could have gotten this for Jill and added an 's' to brother.

Apparently! Maybe he sympathizes with this being a tough year for me... ?

And yeah, that was the plan especially considering I have watched most of them lol Going to watch a few today though :thumbsup2

That was a fun, fun night! It had slipped my mind. I think the kids really had a great time meeting each other and enjoyed playing this trip. I hope we have a chance to make this happen again!
