I have been praying for you and Sophie. I saw your post on FB last night and this morning. I hope you will be able to rest after the party. I also hope that Brooklyn has a blast at her party.

Wow. I was so far behind!! I have been so busy with our move to AL. We only have two weeks left in FL.

I wont comment on much because I could be here all day but I will say that seeing Bella's face when she was looking at all of the princess' brought a tear to my eye. You can see that she is just in complete admiration. Cute!!

I have been thinking about Jill. I have seen her posts on Facebook and she has definitely been in my thoughts.

Creighton just got home from the store with his dad and sees the smileys and wants to pick some again...

Okay, so Sophie threw a big fit about not being at her sister's party and created a little drama, but in the end, Sophie stayed put, and Brooklynn got her special day. There's a long story in those few words 'created a little drama', but we won't bother you with that right now. We thank you all for your care and concern for Jill and Sophie. It will only be a very short time now before we will be asking for those thoughts and prayers again for the real thing.

For now, we'll share our party fun. Keep in mind that this party is lacking lots of greenery that Trent was supposed to bring. When he got the 'alert' call from Jill, he figured we were going to have a baby, not a party, so the forest/jungle that is at my house never made it to Alabama Animal Kingdom. I also failed to bring the CD player to put outside for background music (AK CD). With those two things, the atmosphere would have been better.

After not getting home from the hospital until 2:20 a.m., the day was spent cleaning, grocery shopping, baking & frosting, decorating, etc.

Purposely, Jill had only invited a few very close families to this event. Knowing what shape she would be in, she wanted people she could feel completely comfortable with. Brooklynn's good buddies Carter and Presley were the only ones missing, as they had to go to a cousin's birthday. They had taken Jill for a special day last Saturday to celebrate with her, but we missed their presence at the party.

Here are a few pictures from the party.

Thankfully, the day was nice, so we were able to set up everything in the backyard.

My very kind music teacher let us borrow all of these, so we could have music on the streets of Africa.

Rafiki's Planet Watch had snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocodiles.

In Asia, children would choose their parade costumes and animals for the Jammin' Jungle Parade.

I made it as Bella, Brooklynn, Bubby, and a random mingo eating a fish over at the side. Brandon saw it and said the weight-lifting mingo should be Jarvis, and Trent would be the one stuffing his face. It was appropriate, so we went with that.

The party meal would be provided by Pizzafari.

So glad the party went off as planned. Sophie was trying to make a surprise appearance.

I hope for Jill that she can give Sophie the green light now.

There would also be pizza, chicken fries, mini-corn dogs, and chips.

I didn't know if they would join in the parade, but some of them really liked it. Bella took about five steps and then ran off crying for some crazy reason. I ended up carrying her around the yard once, and she smiled like crazy. She just didn't want to do it by herself, I guess. Silly Willy!

After they dropped Trent off, Brandon and Jarvis got lost and needed a map to find their way around.

It was a fun afternoon wth family and friends. Times like this remind us how blessed we are to have special people in our lives.
