Love your pictures at the Seas with Nemo and Friends! Truly such an underrated place, there really is so much and the ride itself is really very cool. Oh I miss it so much. to the Hidden Mickey and the Dolphin research thing, I'll have to be on the look out for that when I go back.
Can't wait to hear how the party goes and hopefully we'll have you back over here in DISTown soon!
We really enjoy the animal activities. We could spend a lot of time at The Seas and at Animal Kingdom and never even touch Magic Kingdom, whereas some people would think that was crazy.
The Seas is a great place to hang out when it's raining, lots of things to occupy your time while you wait for the rain to stop!

I love Crush! It is one of my favorite things at Epcot to do. The Seas Area is great too. Eels are much better in a tank than coming out at you from a rock while you are snorkeling!
Thanks to everyone for your congratulations to my DH. He is excited. He is a veteran middle school teacher. He has just enough sarcasm to make him perfect for the job. He sent me a text today of his board. He has drawn Dr. Doofensmirtz (spelling) with Welcome to 8th grade science. I asked him why and he said he was the first mad scientist he could think of. LOL. Disney is invading him also.
How cool that he came up with a Disney character!!!
I like the tanks better, too. As cool as it would be, there will be no snorkeling for me!
It may not be a great day to beoutside but it sure was a great day to be in the seas. Every trip I always say I want to spend more time here and yet it is never enough.
I hope for great weather for Brooklynn's party and as always I can't wait to see it all.

Great updates I've never seen the manatees or dolphins before at the seas. I must check that out next time. Too bad it rained so much, but looks like the parks were pretty empty which is always nice. Look forward to next update. -Amanda

The Seas is definitely a great rainy Disney day destination, lots to do indoors!!
Yep. It is good that there are so many indoor things to do. The Land would be another place you could stay for a long while to wait rain out. You could go to Soarin, Living with the Land, Circle of Life movie, and eat at Sunshine Seasons.
I cannot think of a better place to be while it is raining than the Seas. I LOVE the dolphins!! I just love slowly walking around looking at everything.

We have spent a lot of time in their with our little girls - sometimes to get out of the rain like you did but usually just to get out of the sun!
The huge aquarium is my favourite spot for just hanging out and relaxing and a good spot for the girls to be out of the stroller. Somewhere to go slow for a while
It is very nice not to be in the thick of the crowds. We try to be that way a good part of the time.
The seas is a wonderful place to spend a rainy morning (or just about any morning actually!). Looks like the girls were having lots of fun, and those Ariel tutus fit in perfectly!
Brooklynn's is actually a Jasmine skirt, but it does look something like Ariel's, too. The girls very much enjoyed their morning.

We had an early breakfast, so between that factor and the rain, which was very hard at times that morning, there were not many people around. It would have been a good morning for a sleep in.

Have a great party this weekend! We just planned an impromptu weekend to your state. We are heading to Dollywood and the Smokies before school starts back. Really looking forward to it since it has been years since we have been. We were planning a little trip over Memorial day but my shoulder problems prevented that.
Please bring back some Dollywood pictures for us. We are excited about going there next summer!
Akershus was nice for the Princess experience, but the meal was just okay. Other than the hash brown casserole, the rest of it didn't wow me. I am glad I had the experience, but it isn't high on my list for running back to it.

It was nice not to be in a rush to get somewhere else, too, since we were just enjoying taking our time and not getting back out in the rain.
Great updates! I actually like Epcot rainy except for the time we had test track fast passes and it closed. Of course it was the only thing my son wanted to ride and the next trip it had closed for this refurb.

When is it that you are going to WDW in Oct? Looks like I wil be around the 26-28. My dd13 is being taken for a friends bas mitzva and being the overprotective mom I decided it would be a great excuse to be nearby in Orlando and take my son for mommy /louie time at the halloween party.
We will not cross paths in October. We are going the 5th through 13th. I think your 'excuse' is an excellent one!

We have lost many hours exploring the seas, there is just so much to see. There is always something to learn too.

Every time Trent has seen me working on something for the party, he rolls his eyes and tells me I am not right.
Right now, every fake bit of greenery at my house is on the kitchen table. It really does look like Animal Kingdom in that spot. I gave Trent the job of wiping all of it off with a Lysol wipe and transporting it on Saturday. He was thrilled.
We never take time to look at the aquarium, but on our Dec. trip I'm sure we will. My cousin loves stuff like that.
I hope Brooklynn has a great birthday party.
We didn't watch the whole dolphin show, because it got a little long for Bella, but it is interesting to watch for a few minutes.

We finally explored the seas this time and spent about an hour in there. We got invited by a CM to go backstage with him and see the top of the tank as well as some training going on. It was totally cool, Dude!
We were asked to be Family of the Day at The Seas once, but we turned it down in hopes of getting to Character Spot first. Sadly, we were not first. We were second. I hope we get The Seas Family of the Day chance again sometime.

I love The Seas pavillion. I honestly think I could spend most of the day in it. I find sea creatures and their habitats so interesting! I love sitting and watching the dolphins and rays and dolphins and manatees. And the seahorses!! I love them! Plus the Nemo ride is so sweet and I love hanging out with Crush (even the sorta perilous part with poor Dory) It is definitely a fun spot! And a great place to wait out some rain!

I just spent a few days reading your last tr and finally finished that and now I am here! Every now and then I have lurked on your tr's, but I'm not going to lie! They get big so fast, it's been intimidating!! But after reading through so much, I can see why you have so many people always on your tr's. Sorry about the quick responses and typos - many, I'm sure. I am drowning in schoolwork, but I didn't want to get too far behind here. I got on during a short break. Jill went to the doctor. Looks like we will get a party in this weekend, but after that, it shouldn't be long until Sophie joins in the fun! 
I have stayed there 2 out of 3 times and it just feels like home! I love it so much!! I love all the ToT pics too, that is my top favorite ride! I especially love seeing all that merchandise, it makes me so happy!! 
I have a son of my own and 3 nephews plus another nephew on the way between my boyfriend's families and mine! All boys over here!! So I really do enjoy seeing how the other half lives. So adorable!! I'm eager for more!!
