YAY for TSM! Bella looks so adorable testing out her shooter. I can already tell she's going to be a total gamer when she is old enough to be able to touch her feet to the floor and play. I take my riding on there VERY seriously so yes, I have beat those scores, but I can see Bella is on her way so she'll be MUCH better than me at my age, trust me. Totally agree about the "Breaking Plates" section, definitely one of my favorites on that ride though I love the water balloon one too because you get splashed too on that haha

Having a Disney-themed room does put the kids at ease on the first day. If one is a little shy about coming in, I just start pointing out things in the room, and in a second, they are doing fine.
Jill loves Toy Story Midway Mania, so maybe she and Bella will be fighting it out for top scores someday!

Thanks. Students were at school only a half day yesterday. Today they stay home to get their supplies and such, and teachers have meetings to work out glitches and do our lesson planning. Tomorrow, it's full speed ahead - students and teachers for the full day. Then we have the weekend.
I kind of like how they ease all of us back into school slowly.
Happy First Day of School, MeMom! I don't think I realized you were starting so early this year. Our first day back is next Tuesday and our kids return next Friday.
Every time I see that Candyland board, both in person and in photos, I think how I need to get on ebay and try and find it. That's the board I had growing up (as is just about everything in Andy's room in the queue including that deck of Old Maid cards).
Pretty sure I played with all of that stuff as a kid, too. I probably like the queue better than the ride.
The ride is fun, though.

It seems so strange you going back today. We are only on week 2 of 6!
I had 20 on my roster, and all 20 showed up. I will probably get 2-3 more in the next week or so. That's usually how it plays out. Some don't show up until after Labor Day, even, especially if they are transferring from somewhere up north. I had three lively little boys who I think need a few days to get back into the routine.
Wow, I can't believe you are going back to school. Jeremy doesn't go back until August 28th, which is later than normal for us. Hope you have a great week!

We used to go the day after Labor Day. They kept backing it up by a few days here and there, and now they are trying what they call a more balanced calendar for the first time.

The queue I don't yet have pictures of is Everest. I think on the March trip I will just aske people if I can slide through to take pictures. I have no desire to ride again any time soon.

Hope you have a great first day of school!!!! Can't wait to hear about the new group of students. I have to share my good news. Free dining has been extended for my dates!! Called and switched back to CSR. But really wanted to stay at POP. Talked to my husband and then called back to book 2 rooms at POP with the upgraded dining. Still saving $400 from my original CSR reservation, and now I have the resort I want, dining, 2 bathrooms and plenty of beds!!!
That's great. I would prefer having four beds and two bathrooms with a group rather than having nicer furniture and decor, because really, there's not much difference in WDW resort rooms. And saving money is awesome, of course!
I can't wait to ride TSM this year. We did not get to last year. Loving your pictures.

We didn't let the rain stop us, but with little ones, I admit, it did slow us down a little. The first two and half days, when it was raining pretty much constantly, sometimes it was easier to just stay in.
When it finally dried out, though, it stayed dried out.

Yeah, that lake view is nice, especially now that we are not looking at a 'dead' area across from it.
School was okay. We only had a half day with kids. They don't come today, as the system takes this day to work out transportation glitches and give all of those who showed up yesterday without proper paperwork this day to get that in order.

It does get earlier and earlier! I'm not liking it so much now, but when the October, December, and March breaks are longer, I will probably be liking it then!

Breakfast looks great especially the mickey waffles. I also love the queue for TSMM. So many great toys from my childhood. I think you classroom looks great, of course some giant barrel of monkeys hanging from the ceiling would be a nice touch.
I did meet new friends! I already know what names I will be saying a lot this year.
I have been told we can't have things hanging from our classroom ceilings because of the motion detectors. I had to hang my jellyfish (last year) way over to the side in a corner so they would not get the AC and blow around.
