I've got my poncho handy and am ready to follow along. I love the rain at WDW...tends to scare off a lot of people. It'll be fun to see all the new things that have been added since my last trip. Plus, there is the added bonus of being introduced to Sophie Kate in Sept!

On Disney Eve, the 22nd, I finished out my last night of church camp. We had a potluck dinner with some incredible food and a bunch of parents who were happy to see their campers. The campers were so tired from their long week, and I knew from having campers of my own in previous years, Saturday morning at their homes were going to be quiet. Parents would be peeking into kids' rooms at about 11 a.m. to be sure the kids were still breathing. Camp takes a toll on you, and it usually takes a couple of days to catch up on rest.

Anyway, after camp was all said and done, I brought the remainder of my cooking things home, along with some leftover food in ziplock bags, tossed it all in the freezer and on the counter, and loaded my car with luggage. It was time to switch into Disney mode!

Trent and his friend, Kaitlyn, drove me to meet Jill at the halfway point between her house and mine. They visited with the girls for a few minutes, Trent got the luggage switched over, and then we said our goodbyes.

At Jill's house, the girls went straight to bed, and I enjoyed a good, hot shower and then called it a night. I was almost afraid to let myself sleep, for fear I would not wake up, but I did get in a few hours and woke up before the alarm went off. This time, there was no panic about finding billfolds with licenses or anything.

Day One: June 23rd

On the road.

At the airport.

In the air.

On Florida soil and MCO mosaic floor.

Brooklynn was fascinated by this place.

Three faucets will be just right for three girls on future trips.

We did not wait long for a Magical Express bus.
Here's the view from my seat.

The Magical Express arrival movie makes us very happy!

They want you to show ID, but not if the ID has been on a Post Office wall.

They knew Jackie would be there soon.

Who wouldn't be excited about seeing this?!?!?

Walt and Brooklynn would have gotten along very well.

I guess they were planning on Pat's arrival, as well.
