I'm trying to talk DH into new counters (and a new kitchen sink too). What type of counters are you having installed, Nancy?

I'm watching Lost as I DIS.

Quartz Called Cambria....all in....but not the back splashes yet....Tuesday for that. I did also get a new sink and faucet

It is sunny here today too,.....but cold! Only 28 this morning!!

I made cookies today.

Silestone is quartz...as is Zodiak and Cambria (I understnad Z & C just 2 brothers companies ).
They take NO upkeep Granite does.
It took 2 weeks from template measure to get them delivered. 2 hours for tear out, 4 hours for install....the countertops. 2 hours for the plumber. And we'll see how long for the back splash. I have full ones going in, so they had to do templates separate. It takes 2 days in the shop for that. I am busy Monday, so Tuesday is it. We went through Costco.......not too bad a price
