ALthough I've given my CC# for many of the PS I have set up for our up coming trip, the only one so far to actually charge a deposit ahead of time was CRT. They charged $10/adult and $5/child. I guess the others (FDP, Luau, ...) just take the CC# in case of a no show. Is this consistent with everyone else? Thanks.

Because there is such a demand for the breakfast at CRT and there was a problem with companies calling and booking up reservations so regular guests didn't have a chance, they put the deposit requirement on the breakfast about a year ago. I think they have also extended it to the Storybook Princess breakfast as well.

If you know that you definitely want to attend, you should go ahead and put down the deposit. I know that we have yet to have the opportunity to dine at CRT for breakfast, and would love to, regardless of the deposit.
