Having been losing only 0.5lb for the last few weeks I had a chat with my Slimming World consultant and worked out that I've started to slip in extra sugar and fats in the form of the odd cake, biscuit, croissant - in fact anything but chocolate. These sugar and fats seem to be a real trigger for me and I start trawling the kitchen for food.
As I seem to be an all or nothing person I promised her that I would go a whole week without any white bread or other stuff that triggers a mini binge and see what effect it has on my weight loss.
Tonight I went to a Guide leaders meeting to find the hostess had made a beautiful raspberry pavolva for us to share. I calmly said "no thank you" and now I feel so PROUD of myself. Only 6 more days before I see the result.

I would have taken at least a bite; then felt guilty afterwards.
That really was a very cool thing to do! I am so proud of you for politely saying no! It's hard to turn people down sometimes, but you made the right decision. What you put into your body is alot more important than worrying about protocol. GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
