I did so well at Target's clearance sale yesterday!

After my trip to the Jewelry Factory, I went to Target to buy a printer cable for DS's new printer. They put most of the Christmas merchandise in one corner of the store, and everything was 50% off.

I got a very cute fiber optic snowman figure and a bunch of flameless candles. I bought a couple of friends I saw last night a set each of flameless votives. We don't exchange Christmas gifts anymore, so it was just a little something that cost me only $6.50 each.

Also got a cheap roll of Reynold's aluminum foil since it was printed with snowflakes. They had lots of candy, but we have tons of it already, so I passed on that. If we didn't have blue laws here, I'd go to another Target today to see if I could pick up this fiber optic village/train sculpture they sell. My friend has one and I think it's adorable, but they were all sold out at this Target.

7 Travel Scrabble games
2 Xmas Magna Doodles
1 Holiday Uno game
Many sets of holiday paper goods (dinner plates, napkins, etc)

I know we got more, but that's all I can think of right now.

Stores not open on Sundays.

Where I live (Bergen County), only consumable products can be sold on Sundays--no clothes, no home decor, no furniture, etc. None of the Targets nearby are open on Sunday because the bulk of what they sell is illegal to sell on Sunday.

I guess I didn't realize blue laws still existed in the United States.

I didn't realize stores like that closed either.

I also went to Target- got a few gift bags, a couple of the Reynolds wrap too, what a great price it was!!! I got 2 of the flameless candles- they weren't votives though- they were the big ones- someone had hidden them- but I found them. Really pretty ones too!
