I did it....

Ash&Wes07....I love your quote!! Hahaha!!!!! :rotfl2: If loving lists is wrong, I don't want to be right! Anyway, Let's see....I have to pack diapers, wipes, diaper cream, anti bac, snacks, drinks, Tylenol, sunglasses, cell phone, camera, room key, car key, chapstick, eye drops, maps. I would LOVE to go bagless! Alas, looks like until DS is potty trained and we get on the DDP next September, we will be carting lots around with us this coming November.

I wear shorts with big pockets, and extra pockets. I can keep a small disposable poncho, camera, my wallet and stuff, and still have a little room. I can even comfortably fit a bottle of water in my pocket. Makes things easier...

I have tried going without a bag before but I just can't make myself go through with it at the last moment.

I must have some sort of problem that requires intervention.

I'm with you, I only carried a bag 2 of the 8 days we were there. I did have a few moments of where is my purse:scared1:but got over it. Of the 4 of us I made sure someone else was also wearing cargo short, I have a small Nikon camera that easily fits in a pocket and I carried my iphone to take pictures as well.

FREEDOM:woohoo:

Most of the time, I carry a very small black backpack (about 8" x 6") Used to be a bigger one, but have managed to scale it down to this one. Not a purse, at all-just a mini backpack so DH will carry it sometime. My most favorite trip was in a January with record-setting cold temps, so DH & I both wore windbreakers...with POCKETS! That was my first trip into the park with no purse/no bag at all...between the two of us we had enough pockets for everything we could possibly need.

Find that our shorter trips it's much easier to trim the bag contents down.

You know...I did recently pick up a Mickey Mouse back pack at a yard sale for $1.00 in perfect shape. This is totally scaled down from the 2 huge Jansport matching ones my DH and I carried last time. This is an improvement and should make us feel lighter. I don't mind carrying it. The cooler will fit under the stroller and everything else should fit this mid-size to small backpack.

You're my hero! That's what I'm aiming for this next trip. I hate having to go through the bag line while DH goes flying around.

I don't think that our family could ever go bagless. (In fact, I basically can't go anywhere bagless.)

I carry a backpack purse, with the SLR camera, my glasses case (always switching between normal and prescription sunglasses), autograph books & pens, small wallet, epi-pen, band aids, sanitizer, advil, lip balm, etc.

DH is the big packrat - he likes to carry this big back pack (that I hate), with the other camera lense (never really need it), extra clothes for the kids (never know when a 3 year old may have an accident), snacks (to keep people happy), ponchos, a back-up epi-pen, etc. Used to also carry the diaper stuff too, so at least it is lighter now.

At DL this year, we could walk from our hotel to the parks, so it was easy to bring in some water/pop each morning and load the bottom of the stroller up with the hoodies, etc. It is much more difficult at WDW, with having to fold up the stroller all the time for transport.

I'm hoping to talk DH out of the big red backpack for our next trip, but since we will not have a stroller (hopefully), I bet he will want to bring it. But our agreement is that we each are responsible for our own bags.

handsfree is the way to be! I love it. we will have to carry dd10's sugar meter with us this trip.. but ive managed to find a tiny one and it fits in my little cross body purse. so its close to handsfree as I can get!

if it was just ME I would NOT need a bag! But those two kids give me "Mommy' bag syndrome.

Nice work though - to be freeeeeeeeeeeeeee of the bag!

Clearly those who are able to go without a bag do not wear shorts (for hot weather - I'm talking SHORTS not to-the-knees-with-14-pockets-leggings ;)) and tank tops. Even the items that could fit in my pockets (money & license) would definitely fall out of my pockets as I sat down or moved around too much. I boil so much that I try to wear very light clothing and having my pockets filled would terrify me that it would all fall out. I have no problem carrying a bag around and having bandaids for the kids and cashews & raisins for me when I'm about to faint :goodvibes

I don't even carry a purse in my every day life, but I tend to carry a fanny pack or camera bag to the parks. This year I'm going to try going without a bag. I'm going to downsize my camera to something that will fit in my pocket.
I just had to ask the hubby what we normally carried in our bag.:rolleyes1 He said we had sunglasses/regular glasses, meds, maps, camera, snack bars, keys (if we drove in), and sunscreen. I'm pretty sure we can cut that list and get everything we need in our pockets.:goodvibes

I would love to go bagless, but I just don't see how...

I'm hoping to have my transission glasses by then, otherwise I need:
- both regular & sunglass prescriptions
- camera and extra batteries
- cell phone
- mini autograph book & sharpie
- travel-size kleenex
- small pack of wet wipes
- pressed pennies tube and mentos tube
- water bottle
- notepad & pen
- sheet paper with ridemax info and ressie info
- ziplock baggies for above items in case of rain or water rides
- small pencil case with bandaids, hair elastic, sunscreen, pain meds, safety pins, tweezer, compact mirror, lip balm

I'm making the kids carry their own:
- water bottle
- autograph book (100 4x6 pages) & sharpie
- ziplock baggies
- sunglasses
- pressed penny tube & mentos tube
- my daughter wants her own camera & extra batteries

I went to the MK without a bag!

That's how I always roll. I don't get why anyone would saddle themselves with hauling a bag around all day (unless of course it's a diaper bag or other non-negotiable necessity). All you need is your KTTW ticket & a little cash in your pocket. Your sunglasses go on your head & the camera on a strap around your neck or wrist.
