I finally made my first solo trip to the World!!! Albeit it was just a day trip but still. I had an absolute blast. I was so nervous on the drive but from the second I got on the tram I had those giddy butterflies and I knew I'd have fun. I got to ride Toy Story Mania for the AP preview, not once but twice (it is going to be a big hit by the way so get your FPs early!). It was so freeing to get to do whatever I wanted with complete disregard for anyone else :rotfl: ! Also, I don't know if it was normal procedure, but on several attractions when I told them that I was a party of one, they had me wait aside for a minute so they could give me a better seat.

That is awesome!! I am embarking on my first trip to the World without my kid in 3 days (yay!) and I love hearing Solo stories! Glad your trip was magical!!

Yes, TSM has a single rider and it was VERY short and moved pretty quickly. You basically enter through the fastpass line and at a certain intersection there is a turnstile for single riders. Just keep asking the CMs where to go.

You can get really spoiled to doing Disney solo :goodvibes I was there solo 5/4-13 at BCV and BWV and had an absolute blast. I rode TSM once on Saturday just at rope drop, but by the time I got out the wait was 2 hours, and they hadn't opened the single rider line yet. I checked back later in the day to see if it was any better, but it wasn't. The single rider line was open by then, but they said it would be 45 minutes to get to the point where you enter the FP/SR line  Went back Tuesday at rope drop and rode twice in a row using the single rider line. It's an awesome ride!

Glad you had a great solo trip - I loved my solo week in 2006. Could you be tempted to stay over next time?

Oh so glad to hear it! I have my first solo trip coming up in August so I am enjoying reading of other's solo adventures. Can't wait for TSM!

Allyson :)

I'd love to stay overnight solo, it's just a little difficult to justify the cost since I live within driving distance. Maybe one of these days I can spoil myself with a solo night too!

hey :wave2:!! we were there around noonish!!! Love that ride!!!

Wow! It sounds like a great time. I'd love to do it, but it's a 2 hour flight away and I get lonely easily..maybe I'll attempt it in a few years!

hi neighbor.. if you need a plane buddy!!! I just got back this past Mothers day and contemplating on going back on June 7,8,9 for the Stars wars weekend :confused3 :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :worship: :wizard:

Just checked in to see what's going on... my solo trip in Sept has turned into two of us and maybe 3 !!! I actually was finally getting pretty excited about going solo - no one to ask "what do yo want to do?"- but this will be fun. I guess it's still ok to go our separate ways occassionally. Just 4 months to go!
